Are we supposed to believe that the potential foster parents couldn't scrape up $50 as guarantor to pay for the eventual return of the kids |
In 1944, the average salary for soldiers was $50 a month. So yes, refugees without income didn't have $50, especially as the Nazis had confiscated all of their savings and all of their property. |
WoW, this must be nothing short of awesome, what with all these alleged N@Z! leanings of Byniameen Net'Anya-Hoo by Brazil's President LooL@. |
A lot of posts from the "River to the Sea" brigade. Shame they cant see this for what it is; A story of a remarkable man during WW II. |
Story well told. Actors well cast. This is a story about what happened to a few hundred people, during a war that occurred in the early 20th century. The movie reflects that story. It's relevance might be a lesson, a memory, or inspiration to give aid to international current affairs...or not. Whatever motivates you to watch it, it's definitely worth your time. 10/10 |
Such a great moment in life & TV history. The film is based on this man's story, nothing like experiencing it as it happened: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OqqbM1B-mPY [spoiler] |
Is the release of this movie a distraction from the genocide Israel committing in Gaza? |
