This is a movie would entertain AI nerds and pedos. It's subtle meta-message projects the fantasy of inevitable digital dominance. surveillance and transhumanism. Yuval Noah Harari approved! |
There is nothing, absolutely NOTHING in this movie that would entertain pedophiles. You would have know had you watched the movie. If anything, this movie will scare them shitless, because this technology would round them up. All of them. But again, you would have known had you watched. |
Would have been better as a Horror/Thriller instead of a Sci-Fi/Drama. It was meh. |
If you possess a minimal understanding of AI, you may not find this movie engaging or entertaining. However, it might capture the interest of the general public who are not well-versed in the subject matter. The portrayal of AI in this movie is reminiscent of how hackers are often depicted in films. |
It's a fantasy. And a dangerous one because an AI dominated world would be more dysfunction than we can imagine. |
Boring. It's just conversation in the room. (I think) this movie like a school or university film-makers art projects. Good poster though (convincing). |
You sure don't get to move around much in this movie Feels like you are stuck in the one place all the time like a hound on a leash |
Sound design really went to town on the critters chirruping in the night effect That was one truly immersive experience Talk about stereo on steroids Was trying to reach out to those critters it felt so real |
Enjoyable movie. Cherry seemed a little too judgemental and unforgiving there at the end, but maybe that's just me. The younger Gareth (in the interrogation room) did a great job with his role. Thanks for the upload. |
Howdy! All due respect to those who enjoyed this movie. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I did not. To quote the old cliche, all talk no action. I've been more entertained by ants trying to lift a breadcrumb. As jaxe succinctly pointed out, it's one long dialog after another. By the middle of the movie, you're screaming at the characters to get up off their butts and leave the dark office - but they don't. And it goes on and on and on like that until the end, with a glimmer of hope when we finally arrive at the infamous 'shed' in Clearwater, Florida, but even that is a let-down. M3ghan was lots of fun. This is not M3ghan. It felt more like a Shakespearean play than a movie, with only a few dimly lit office sets and no real action of any kind. Yes, the story is intriguing and timely and the acting is good, but it's still a slog. With a bit of imagination and a budget, it could have been good but just wasn't. Rating it 4/10. As always, to the TGx team for sharing it. |
Thank you - sincerely - for a well-thought-out, intelligent opinion (which is why I upvoted) kentk9. I couldn't disagree more, but I absolutely get your critique. I enjoyed M3GHAN, and I enjoyed this - for different reasons, they're different movies. And yeah, I could see this as a great stage production too. |
Did they actually leave that small dark office We felt so stressed out stuck in there and were so desperate to get out that we had to leave (the movie) |
Near the end 3874, only near the end |
Well said, LL. You guys were the 'yin' and I was the 'yang'. 😘 Rock on, sister! |
oh thank you. so it's not the usual marvel movie which us 4 year olds love these days. |
That's why Who's Afraid Of Virginia Woolf, Kramer vs Kramer, Secrets & Lies, A Pure Formality, The Breakfast Club, Before Sunrise/Sunset/Midnight, any movie by Woody Allen to name but a few are such awfully bad movies? |
