i love ol' MG, regardless of his accent in a movie. this was terrible. i felt embarassed. Mel.Gib, if you're out there, blame the mexicans involved and maybe i will forgive you. ur biggest fan, stan |
This film is absolutely terrible, scenario rediculous , dialogue pathetic, and acting atrocious, only thing worse is the set. DO NOT waste your time. The only thing to take away from this film is that the fame reputation of Mel Gibson is totally thanks to good writing good directing . |
Mea Culpa ... I read the scenario, saw Gibson and Dillon and confused this with "Hot Seat, basically the same film... |
Well 3481 that's generally what can attribute to the making of a great actor in certain roles, excellent writing and excellent directing... |
blablabla. too much blablabla. too little action. gibson in his elderly days |
I'm halfway through, the movie is pretty good so far. Mel is great as always. |
Well theres a little known fact about Mel Gibson; he's actually a transgender black woman |
do not besmirch the name of the man who is Braveheart. He knows how to make a damn good movie! |
We cannot possibly conceive the works of art we lost ... Because hollywood simply couldn't separate the art from the person...we lost this guy in his prime not allowed to fullfill his potential and to grow into a more seasoned actor, director and writer with good stories to tell...I'm certain had the incident not occurred we would have had some timeless classics perhaps even something that would have been in the imdb top 10... |
whats with all the thumbs down on comments? |
Mel and Bruce are not even in the same league. |
Didn't realise getting downvoted is the sin of all sins here; just like in real life, people have different opinions and since when does this board represent the 7+ Billion opinions of the Planet. Yeah... everyone's a racist. Demographics Australia: - In 2019, 30% of the Australian resident population, or 7,529,570 people, were born overseas. - the number of ancestry responses within each standardised group as a proportion of the total population was as follows:[16] 57.2% European (including 46% North-West European and 11.2% Southern and Eastern European). Source ABS & Wikepedia So that wold include Italians, Greeks etc So it's just the 53% of those that have European ancestry that are racist? I guess the 30% born overseas are racists too? Perhaps you should find new non-racist friends? |
Pare down your comment and you might get someone to read it I stopped at "In 2019, 30% of the Australian resident population" I don't come here to get a math lesson, technically, I live here as an uploader. Good luck to you standing on a street corner or finding a captive audience, because we are none of those. |
Italians? I'm first gen Ita/Amer. You know nothing. Get away from Wiki.. |
la scopa, "Broom", when the black shirts came by, everyone had a broom outside their homes and would start sweeping. Kept their attention elsewhere. |
On balance, having grown up in Australia, I can definitely say the Country has always been racist; it shouldn't shock anyone when their most-famous celebrities are similarly racist. Obviously there are good people everywhere, and I know a fair lot of them there, but that doesn't take away the fact racism is inherently clear, and especially disturbing for a meagre population of 20 Million. Even the most heart-warming TV shows from Down Under have stars that tell stories of racially-abused childhoods; that's just how it is there ... |
