Just watched this movie and to be honest it was not that bad, mainly due to the story line and the supporting actors. Alas poor Bruce he was so bad and you could clearly see that he was struggling to even deliver his lines, but I will watch any of his movies, he got guts if nothing else and he does deserve our respect. |
Looks like Bruce unretired. This Detective Knight movie and the others after it were not on his filmography when he announced he was quitting the business months ago due to his memory issues and not having control of his faculties. https://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000246/ Wire Room was the last thing on the list back then. |
wikipedia says: "At the time of his retirement, Willis had completed eight films awaiting release in 2022 and 2023." |
Nothing sells better than announcing you have to stop working because of health problems. Every lemming runs to see him"one last time". And another last time and another… No wonder they all plunge into the abyss while he counts his bless…, sorry: dollars.. |
Yeah, makes you wonder if he is really ill or it was all just a ruse My $dollars$ are on the latter |
@ jaxe I bet you felt 'cheated' on learning that Bruce is still in the game cos I sure as Hell do It is positively 'gut-wrenching', we had put all this behind us then, like Jaws, another Bruce movie pops up |
I was just thinking "And I thought we we finally safe from more Bruce Willis Movies". |
Bruce will be in movies for the next 50 years, just like dead Democrats who are still voting from the grave. |
Cannot await the following of this trilogy - to miss them; hahahaha. Anyway, somehow these craps seem to be profitable business |
Yes, nothing like Aphasia (loss of ability to understand or express speech, caused by brain damage) to end your career. Bruce did good, having being diagnosed with basically a terrible condition he made as many movies possible to get the cash to live out the remaining years in relative comfort. |
Even the title of this movie will give people strokes, 'Detective - Knight - Rogue'? it's like their plan on comicbook readers and their search algarythm, to get this movie traction that alone gives this 'movie' trash vibes already. |
Bruce Willis still doing movies; This is surely a dying hard road. |
Many thanks for this download, was the best movie he has done in 2022. Good story line. hope they keep doing them like this one, the rest of Bruce's movies in 2022 have been below average |
Having watched a few of the garbage movies he's produced since 2020, I think its fairly easy to determine that Brucie was having one last cash grab because he knew he was unwell. Sadly too he's made some great films and a host of stinkers in his lifetime, so whats $1 million dollars for three weeks work where he can barely operate. He must have put his hand up for 20 films which is a pretty good payday given he'll never work again. |
I hope this is good, last few have been disappointing. i really liked the Bruce Willis movies in the past, i know he is not well, but please do some belters before you give up making films |
Poor Bruce. Sad to watch the decline. Before you hate on the guy, remember this could happen to you one day. Perhaps he needs the money (actors often don't have the best financial prudence) or perhaps his pride won't let it go, or both. Either way while I don't want to watch this, I loved the Die hard films (except for the second, Samuel L Jackson was the only highlight). |
The second was great! You surely mean the 3rd film, NY is too big to keep all the action focused. The skyscraper and the airport were much better locations. Even Steven Seagal had a decent success with his first "Die hard on a boat" (Under Siege) |
