I have seen the trailer and after seeing it, the plot sypnosis needs to be rewritten correctly to: For best friends Becky and Hunter, life is all about doing stupid things and pushing their stupidity for social media views. They found trouble when they gone and decided climbing a 2,000 feet radio tower without any prior ascending and descending skills and training while not carrying proper supplies and equipment is a great way to pass the day. |
If they stopped making movies based on dumb things people did in life then there'd be no movies. Anyways it doesn't mean it is a bad movie. |
Guest-1941 Yep and look what shape our western society is in, we are at extinction level stupidity. |
@Guest-1941: i didn't say it's a bad movie. I am merely saying the synopsis is not accurate. |
I don't know if it is because of my country I come from which I don't want to mention but climbing radio towers, tall buildings, jumping from one high building to the next was something we did as kids all the time Not much else to do |
She is actually a mountain climber, so has prior experience. Also they do have a rope, but it is not 2000 feet long. |
Same 47 Meters Down producers, but 2,000 yards in the air in the middle of nowhere... what could possibly go wrong? Trailer looks really good. Thank you, Galaxy. |
2000 feet, not yards. How many feet is 2000 yards? 6000+? |
There is 3 feet in 1 yard, so 2000 feet is 666.67 yards And 5280 feet (1760 yards) in a mile, so these chicks are perched 0.38 miles in the air |
A average storey in a building is approximately 10 feet so think of a 200 floor office/apartment block for visual comparison These towers look smaller from a distance if there is nothing to compare them with |
watch the trailer https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aa5MXOMN1lM ;) |
Why does it fast forward 51 weeks towards the beginning and not one year? What gives? |
Nothing new here then - 2 friends get stuck at the top of a tall tower - see this every Friday and Saturday night on the way back home in my location - only difference is the 2 friends are usually p!ssed up after a night out and trying to be talked down by the local constabulary |
geez... my hands are already sweating when I look at the poster and description. |
As someone who suffers from vertigo (half of you wants to jump off, the other half is scared too) I generally avoid movies of this genre I am going to give this shot even though I fully expect to be disappointed What is their to lose except a few minutes of our time The funny thing about vertigo is that doesn't manifest in aircraft Must the sensation of moving at the same time Can't go on a glass elevator but can fly at 60,000 feet no problem |
time is valuable to most people. at least wait for a good copy, i mean, this is 100% trash quality WITH ads. who the hell watches this??? |
was a good film , bit bright in parts but hey its a cam im happy i can watch thx for sharing |
I've climbed to the top of a 1200-foot wire-anchored open truss antenna and it sways about 3 feet in a light wind. Makes it very hard to hold on and undo your fly so you can pee on your friends below... There's no way they're sitting on that little platform like that for any length of time. |
Guest-3642. I have exactly what you have. Being on a plane is no problem but looking over a wall or barrier is. Dont know if I could watch this film. |
Same here, bro That makes three of us Wonder what this debilitating affliction is called |
Is 2000 feet enough height for a parachute to open and land a person safely if they each packed a parachute? |
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nz0zizHqNbU no problem been done a thousand times .... |
Wouldn't be much fun if you didn't pack a parachute |
dono but if someones willing to try I wanna watch |
I don't think so Superbikemike i have seen a buddy of mine hit the ground when his parachute failed to open and he was to close to the ground to deploy his reserve not a pretty site |
for those who dont know a low level drop out of a c-140 is between 800-500 feet dont go chicken out get pushed out the back and find out for yourself ... |
Low Velocity Airdrop (LVAD) is done around 400 - 750 feet all depending what weight is being dropped. If using a Base Rig Chute then can jump as low as 80 - 90 ft due to the rig opening a lot quicker but I wouldn't suggest doing this. Xtreme sports nuts do it all the time |
Hey ,im going to climb this tower/building and not tell anyone where im going and what time to expect me back is really a thing? |
