 | Personally i would rater have the movies dubbed. If you want to come over or log on zoom and read the subtitles to me then ill go for it. To all those that say folks are too lazy to read/ if i want to enjoy a book i read if i want a movie i dont want to read. | When I was a kid my folks would always turn off a subtitled movie as soon as it came on  Subtitled movies was folks one big peeve, what they would talk about at work the next day. They would show them at prime time. They even tried moving them to later in the evening. Eventually when the TV channels realised that no one was watching them the TV channels gave up and stopped showing them  A lot of excellent subtitled movies just stopped being shown Folks are just too god-damned lazy |

| Yes, it is dubbed alright, but it is a good flick Decent story line. Intrigue. Worth watching for the car chase alone. Korean cinema comes up trumps again and gives Hollyweird a run for its $money$  |

| Unfortunately it's based on a true story (so you can't escape the racial facts) but every single black person in the movie is portrayed as a venal, turncoat and sadistic monster (children too). While it depicts the realities of society breaking down in a city in an amazing and visceral way (the panic buying in the market, the child soldiers "playing" execution,...), it really needed some black characters to behave in humane ways to balance it out. Because as it is, the Korean audiences are left with the message that they should fear black people because they want to kill them. |

| @ Guest-2933 The North/South co-operation is more a plot device in this movie; no big deal and nothing to get your knickers in a twist about Besides, it is not something you even notice or care about, especially if you aren't Korean, just sit back and enjoy the entertainment and stop fretting |
