A heart-warming tale of Tom (Timothy Spall), a pensioner whose wife, Mary (Phyllis Logan), has just passed away, who travels from Britain's most Northerly point, John O'Groats, to his original home town at its most Southerly point, Land's End, using his free bus pass. He carries with him his wife's ashes in a small suitcase, travelling the length of the country to take her back home. Along the way, his adventures are recorded by the people he meets and helps, and by the end of his trip he has unwittingly become a social media celebrity.

 | Thanks TGx for the upload and my friend @Repear for the excellent review! :) The A/V=10/10 but was expecting a bit more from the movie tbh! Typically am a fan of many British movies, but this didn't happen to live up to my expectations, although there were scenes that were heartfelt for sure! I think this is not a drama that you would find that is typical from the one's that we have in the US that are in the good to very good category, so if you think any movies get a bit slow from a drama perspective, this would definitely not be worth a watch & a time saver for sure! :) M=5.0 Thankful always to the TGx team for bringing it to us, as some will end up enjoying this "art" and that's a kind way of saying it! :) PS: IMHO..Bring toothpicks to keep the eyes open, or load up on coffee ;) lol j/k Have a great weekend everyone!  |
