| After watching, this is by far the worst version and partly because it is a two part movie. Everything is slow, disengaged and lackluster. I can easily watch the 1984 version or the Syfy miniseries and never feel bored, but this movie was a nightmare to sit through. I was expecting some middle ground between the previous two versions in terms of content but its almost like they focused on boring parts and skipped/changed what was good in the other versions. It's honestly sad they even wasted money making this. |

| i love the dune 1984 version, I've also remember playing the computer games, I will definitely enjoy this, i have faith it will be good.. as the director wanted to produce another great version, as for the actor's and actresses involved i don't mind them, as a bonus at least chani is being played by Zendaya who starred in movies before. |
