no such thing as an honest thief! There's a remorseful thief, a guilty thief, a repentant thief, an incarcerated thief, a paroled thief, no honest thief! |
Came here to find out if this movie was any good but appear to have landed on a debate on the rights and wrongs of killing a black man :facepalm :-@ |
Why can't Liam Neeson not just be a regular thief like the rest of us? :D Why does he have to be an honest thief? :D :-@ |
Is this the same Liam Neeson who wanted to kill a black man? Will be giving this a pass :D :-@ |
Howdy! Just watched it this evening. A few quick comments. First, regarding the Liam Neeson controversy: if I had a dollar for every time I got angry, lost my temper - and then said (or did) stuff I regretted later, I could have retired a rich man at the age of 40. I think people deserve a second chance. Just my opinion; others are free to disagree, that's okay. While we're on the topic of second chances, getting a second chance in life is actually the underlying theme of this film. Funny that. Anyway, the plot plays out in a fairly predictable fashion - and it didn't blow me away - but it held my attention and was interesting enough to recommend, thanks in large part to the credible performance of a certain actor whose name we shall not speak :D and also for ending on a high note. Audio and video are excellent, as usual. Rating the movie 4/5 stars on the 5 star TGx scale. Thanks, GalaxyRG. |
