avatarI just saw it in cinema and I enjoyed it. The five people I went with all liked it as well.  Can't wait to share a clean copy with others.
Not great by any means but it's definitely worth a watch.
...and it was  Richard Lynch, not  Rutger Hauer, that was in the 1979 made for TV movie, Vampire. I do see that being an easy mistake at a glance of a still shot.

avatarthey also could of meant the '79 Herzog "Nosferatu the Vampyre" with Klaus Kinski not Hauer (all 3 looked similar). can't wait to see this for Eggers take. It'll at least be interesting . my fav other than original is Shadow of the Vampire with Defoe as Orlock. (Udo Kier was in Shadow and Herzog's funnily enough).

avataralso, the Lynch one was written by Stephen Bochco, creator of NYPD blue and tons of hit tv shows over a few decades.. oh and Cop Rock.. yup. a police procedural musical tv show. amazingly awful. lol. can't all be Hill Street Blues I guess.. :_:D
