They need to be more specific. The team reached the Little League World Series https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Little_League_World_Series. Not the MLB (Major League Baseball) World Series. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/World_Series They are 2 different things and we wouldn't want this movie to embellish the events to be more than what they were. This is the team that went to the Little League World Series in 2002 https://www.fwwestside.com/ |
What part of "youth baseball players takes its Cinderella run all the way to the 2002 Little League World Series" didn't you understand? There is not ONE iota of indication that they went to the MLB World Series. Sometimes you just talk to hear yourself talk and it's annoying. Or you're the biggest troll here. |
It literally says that in the description, what the hell is your problem? |
How can they be the so called "world leagues", when there only are northamerican teams in them? That's silly. |
The first description seems to talk about World Series, but the team is described as "Little League", I misread the same way you did. Also, the Little League World Series in 2002 included teams from Canada, Venezuela, Saudi Arabia, Curacao, Mexico, Russia and Japan, so Signal Runner comment seems wrong. |
@guest7815: read the first plot description and that's the only one I read before posting my comment : "In doing so, they accomplish the impossible by reaching the World Series finals in a game that became an ESPN instant classic." |
