ok so, in 2021 they released a documentary called Reality Winner about this young woman who is a whistleblower and apparently that's her real name. then in 2023 they released a fictional movie about her called Reality with Sydney Sweeney. now we got this movie about her called Winner. at last they have exhausted all possible movie names. unless the next one is gonna be called Reality Winner Chicken Dinner? |
They really made another movie about her already? Don't get me wrong, people should know about her... but another movie depiction? Did they run out of biopic ideas already and have to cycle back through? And this cover makes it look like a "zany comedy about a quirky kid that will warm your heart". |
The Sydney Sweeney film wasn't fictional. It is based on the FBI interrogation transcript. |
Anyway, Subservience is so much better than Winner. M3GAN Fox rules (better than Emilia Jones). So head down to download the movie. M3GAN all grown up. |
I have watched that movie called Reality more than ten times and now Winner. I dunno what was it all about, I am a man of culture, was looking at Sweeney's asset though. After Reality I started downloading all of her movies including Euphoria. Now that's a winner! |
The entire world is turning into a surveillance state and nobody seems to notice or care. |
Looks like she saying the "F" word on the poster. lol Thanks! |
No She's saying. "Look mummy, there's an aeroplane up in the sky" |
Well spotted. Seems like it's subliminal... back on topic, looks like a fun & interesting film though. |
Panicked listeners packed roads, hid in cellars, and loaded their guns. In one block of Newark, New Jersey, 20 families rushed out of their houses with wet towels over their faces as protection from Martian poison gas, according to a front-page article in the New York Times the next day. |
Fear and anxiety had become a way of life in the 1930s, and it took little to rattle jittery Americans. |
But historians also claim that newspaper accounts over the following week greatly exaggerated the hysteria. "No movie special effects … could have conjured up enormous aliens striding across the Hudson River towards the CBS studios 'as if it were a child's wading pool' as convincingly as the listeners' imaginations could." Some [listeners] heard only that 'shells were falling' and assumed they were coming from Hitler. |
for such a nonconventional person, she sure does conventional things for her generation--huge tattoo on her shoulder; making stupid connections between her activities and a situational outcome across the ocean. |
She can blow my whistle, hihi...Joke aside, I have to see the movie to find out what kind of whistleblower she is. |
I lasted 7 minutes...and the movie doesn't belong in the comedy genre. |
AFR 35-10 requires a woman to pin up her hair in uniform. It used to, now, guys can probably dress in drag like that gay ass fat fark in the Coast Guard. |
In 1877, the Italian astronomer Giovanni Schiaparelli had observed a series of dark lines on the Martian surface that he called canali, Italian for “channels.” In English, canali got mistranslated to “canals,” a word implying that these were not natural formations—that someone had built them. |
OK, i couldn't sit thru the one with Sydney Sweeney that was based on a play that was based on the whistle blower named Reality Winner (that's her real name) so maybe I'll be able to sit thru this one since I won't be stuck in a room while she is being interrogated like the last film that was filmed entirely in a room of her being interrogated by two guys. so maybe this will be a fun watch. |
this has humour and a more enjoyable watch. |
No one is heading into WW3.What kind of shit are the news feeding you there in the USA? |
1st time I hear my look in future confimed, tanx m8 - Gotta look film now... |
If Trump doesnt get elected you can count on WW3 or a civil war. At this point its [retty obvious how shituated we all are. |
Possibility of WW3 and a Civil war is pretty conceivable concidering how fucked we are VIA Biden. If Trump isnt elected and Kamala is you can count on one of if not both. |
As the clock struck 8 p.m. in New York City on the night of October 30, 1938, Orson Welles stood on a podium inside a Madison Avenue radio studio. Orson Welles converted the 40-year-old novel into fake news bulletins describing a Martian invasion of New Jersey. Americans will believe anything... |
In Providence, Rhode Island, hysterical callers begged the electric company to cut power to the city to keep it safe from the extraterrestrial invaders. |
In New Jersey, ground zero for the fictitious invasion, national guardsmen wanted to know where they should report for duty, and the Trenton police department fielded 2,000 calls in under two hours. Although the original The War of the Worlds had been written 40 years earlier, ~20% of listeners believed it was real. |
Science fiction in the 1930s was largely the purview of children, with alien invaders confined to pulp magazines and the Sunday funnies. The idea that intelligent Martians might actually exist had largely been discredited. Yet panicked listeners packed roads, hid in cellars, and loaded their guns. |
I don't know. But we could sure use another Jeffrey Dahmer movie about now. We need an update. The tally is up to 8 movies/documentaries now. |
The other movies never covered Winner's life or what she actually did while working for the US Air Force. Nor did the other shows cover the context. |
Might be a stretch but if you look at actual news and FACTS you'll find this is based on a real person. Obviously only in the USA could someone be called Reality Winner and no one bat an eyelid. |
Winner actually helped prevent terrorist attacks and served her country. Rather than sitting around, repeating rumours and disinformation, or squabbling amongst yourselves like fools. |
Watching how easy it is for hostile foreign intelligence agencies to divide Americans is simply stunning. These same operations were run by the Soviets against Americans throughout the Cold War. When the KGB began to increasingly focus on conservative oranisations in the 1980's, few took notice. |
The KGB’s Service A planned, coordinated, and supported operations which were designed to backstop overt Soviet propaganda using forgeries, printed press articles, planted rumors, disinformation, and controlled information media. Russia was routinely meddling in internal Polish elections by the early 18th century. |
