 | A/V 6/5 (Out of 10) Audio:Kind of rough, sounds 'tin can' like. It's a little difficult understanding Keaton & Ortega's characters as they're both quiet and mumble. Video: Typical cam washout, you can still distinguish every scene. There's a scene explaining an important plot point but it's completely in French, so beware. I went ahead and translated the scene for you all but be aware it's a fast and dirty translation done from google and me transcribing, so SPOILERS!: In forgotten times, eaten away by death and plague, that our love story lives its birth. I was only a humble grave robber, drawing my pittance from the pockets of the dead. For too long, my heart had wandered in the abyss. But my destiny, like a ghost, covered me with its shadow in a cold and starless night. Her name, Delores. The moment my gaze met hers, baleful, I was bewitched. The ceremony was traditional. We drink each other's blood. We tore off the heads of two chickens with our teeth, then we sacrificed a goat. Our wedding night... was a symphony. pleasures of the flesh. A macabre ode to lust, to unbridled desire. But my new bride was hiding a dark secret. She was the guru of a sinister sect that devoured souls. Like a spider lying in wait for its prey, she was about to attack. Her quest for immortality would require two things: my life and my soul. But hey, I too have a few screws loose. And I have my limits. So... That was the breakup. END SPOILERS Movie Review: Heavy on the callbacks while trying to stand on its own, it tries to give a story to every character just to realize it has to wrap it all up so they hash it out in the literal last 5 minutes. It feels so far removed from the original that it lacks the charm. 5/10, I'd say wait for it to come to streaming. Thanks for the upload! Be good to each other. |

| @PsiSix I'd recommend using IINA video player to tweak the audio equalizer channels, and video adjustments as follows. It helps. Equalizer: 31.25: +4.5db 62.5: -2db 125: -2.5db 250: default db 500: default db 1k: -4db 2k: default db 4k: +2.5db 8k: default db 16k: default db Video Equalizer: Gamma: - 10 give or take Leave all other settings alone. Alternatively, use the Latino source, which is much higher detail, and just run the two videos with the Latino Audio silenced. Worked for me. |

| Michael Keaton will always be a god to me - but this film is dreadful. did you love the first movie ? yes ? well yr gonna hate this one. i was barely 45 minutes in when i was nodding off. i wanted this to be good but its so far from it - its not even average. |

| I tried, I really did. I loved the original. I had to stop watching half-way thru. Such a let down, all the actors did their jobs well but the script and everything else about the movie was horrible. I also agree Burton copied the character her from Wednesday's Tyler, and he looks a lot like the actor/character too so no originality at all. Plus, let's not forget nobody took the time to fact check. The woman was polish. |

| I know cam's are always bad and everything but what is really annoying about this copy is that you can hear someone's phone going off through alot of the movie. Why wouldn't you silence it in the movie theater? |
