Touching is what got Kevin Spacey into trouble in the first place. |
You do realise that three of Kevins victims died under one year? |
Hey Guest-1325 - You do realize that the court system is messed and he's an GOOD ACTOR for a reason! |
Not enough evidence to convict doesnt mean innocent... hes a fruity fruit loop |
just a screenshot of Kevin Spacey holding a long stick while making a disturbing facial expression. |
My wife and I agree 100%. It was slow and boring! We turned it off after 30 minutes. Somebody needed a tax write off! |
It's amazing that Spacey had a good 30-year career and now it is a complete trainwreck. |
Spacy is doing just fine, he's as talented and charismatic as ever. The trainwreck belongs to all the woke cancel culture crybabies who tried to shut him down and destroy his career based on nothing other then a couple of 30 year old false accusations made by a disgusting pathetic money grubbing fruitcake. |
@Leviticus His "talent" relies on people wanting to view his talent (and pay for the privilege). Right now, people are disgusted by his "talent" (and wont pay for it). He literally has no talent, right now. |
I like Kevins work.Usual Suspects is my fave film. So its worth a looksee and I dont listen to any recs unless its from someone I know or trust. |
Peter Five Eight -- Is this some sort of measurement? And with Kevin Spacey? |
I believe it's one of those quizzes: "What is your Porn Star name?" Name your favourite thing to eat? How many a day? How big do you like it? |
I wondered whether Kevin Spacey would ever work again after he was never convicted of what Anthony Rapp accused him of because of lack of evidence. Cancel Culture DOES NOT EXIST! (But looks like ppl here only remember the accusation and not the outcome) (Same with Armie Hammer) |
There is what? 99.9% actors without accusations? For sure Spacey is innocent, for sure. Specially when he said that he do not remember, he was drunk and he is gay. Normal person would say that he is innocent and nothing ever happened. |
It wasn’t just a lack of evidence. Anthony’s testimony was refuted by facts. He gave a completely inaccurate description of the room he claimed to have been harassed in. In other words, he lied about the entire ordeal. |
Look, if you're gonna base your decision on whether or not to watch Kevin Spacey in any film, based on his morality, why bother watching anything thing made by the entertainment industry? You think you know the personal morals of other entertainers who DON'T get caught up in a scandal? I guess just as long as it remains hidden,I for some folks that makes it alright, until they get exposed of course. The industry is a magnet for behavior even worse than Spacey's. So what he was acquitted or cases thrown out he's a perv, simple as that, but he's far from being alone. I can guarantee the ones who have been exposed are in the minority, compared to the ones roaming around free of the consequences of their actions. The movie" An Open Secret" barely scratches the surface of an industry saturated with sexual misconduct, which is nothing new,it's been there since the industry began. Makes you wonder abt all the people who never came forward and stayed quiet to keep their careers. Makes wonder abt people like Liz Taylor, Judy Garland,Shirley Temple all who were child stars, all had bouts with drugs and alcohol, though Temple's usage was kept real quiet. I don't make a decision to watch any type of entertainment or listen to any type of music, based on the entertainer's morality. If I did, I'd be going back to books, and even then, I probably wouldn't have much to read using the same standard as the the above mentioned. Some folks I'm sorry to say, have the logic of a snail. Sorry, I retract that statement.I do most sincerely, apologize for insulting the snail community. |
I have to say, you're 100% right. I saw open secret. The SAG union for children's president was interviewed in the film talking about the problem, how SAG was working to curtail it, but then at the end of the film, he's recorded on the phone trying to deny his own sexual misconduct.smh |
Well said, you see things for what they are, and don't believe in excuses, nor do I... |
absolute and utter garbage once again from spacey dont waste your time with this crap |
I gave Spacey the benefit of the doubt, as I have enjoyed his films in the past; Unusual Suspects, L.A. Confidential to list a few, but I couldn't make it through this one, the scene in the bar where he's crooning was just so cringeworthy. During his sabbatical he most certainly didn't look after himself physically, he looks bloated like he's been on a binge for a few years...I mean if you are staging this comeback, have a little dignity and pride. Perhaps it wasn't the right role for him? Maybe he should have played an aging Singer/Actor trying to get back into Hollywood and realizing it's not as easy as it once was... I just couldn't buy the plot. |
You really could have seen it just from the trailer, that it is crap. |
