 | Serves them right. You always hear about Christian and Catholic posing as missionaries going to third world countries to force their religion on the population there. Many of them end up getting kidnapped and murdered. This has been going on forever. The crusades were Christian sent by the pope to the Middle East to convert Muslims to Christianity. Of course the Muslims wouldn't have any of that Christianity BS, so they started a war against the invading Christians that lasted 196 years resulting in the defeat of the Christians. |

The Crusades were a response to the Islamic invaders who conquered East Roman Empire territories that were Christianized long before the Persian or Turkish invaders put their foot on them.  |
