It’s like the Cube but with no money, one room, one guy, and nothing happens the whole movie. |
Did you even watch the cube movie's? this has no comparison whatsoever. |
The reviews on sites giving this a 7 or higher are clearly bots. I speed watched this and still feel like it wasted my time. Strip the Cube of everything interesting and this is what is left over. Awful effects, nonexistant story, but the worst part is that there is no fucking payoff for sitting through this garbage. |
lol lets not be caught not understanding sarcasm, this comment is fine, and to be fair there IS a cube on the cover. did guest-3212 think no money and no sets was a compliment? |
Big agree. Pushing three decades and Cube still on the must see list. |
Never saw cube, but reminds me of the insanely good 'platform.' |
Yeah, El Hoyo was exceedingly clever. A sequel is on the way. |
Platform was a one of a kind movie. I've seen it twice & wanting to see it again. |
Looks like this was at festivals in 2022. Then it was sat on/failed to find a distributor until now. I think I'll just watch Cube 2 Hypercube again instead. |
And why would you do that? because this movie came out, that makes zero sense. |
Yeah, why watch any good movie, when you can watch garbage? |
Hah! I arrived too late to say it first. All the cinephiles here have already pointed out the obvious Cube comparisons. I'll still give this one a try... I don't have high hopes, but you never know when you'll be pleasantly surprised. |
... And they both "pushed back", the walls separating them both collapsed... and the image staring right back at him - it was straight off a horror movie... the stuff of nightmares. That was the last time Jonathan or Miles ever slept again. The End. |
Going by the el cheapo lking screenshots reckon this movie had a budget of $1buck if even that |
They made the ending immemorable with the DEI hire. In the 80s or 90s it would have been a Patricia Arquette or a Michelle Pfieffer at the other end. We've come a long way since. |
If you want a movie like this watch The Mill or Meander instead. |
at the way the cover tries to make out this is a Tom Cruise movie |
Somebody was paying attention in low budget movie making school. Concrete parking garage the whole movie? |
Vincenzo Natali made the same with CUBE and it was a masterpiece |
IMO Anyone making a high budget movie should have to go to low budget movie making school first, then we wouldn't have so much amateur level big budget hollywood garbage. Quality storytelling legitimately doesn't require multi million dollar special effects or highly paid up-their-own-ass nepo baby actors. |
When even the poster has bad CGI.. you know it's going to be a winner |
