Duel With Colossus: The Golden Amazon Saga, Book Seventeen by John Russell Fearn EPUB
From outside the universe comes a terrifying threat. A colossal spaceship materializes in the void, crewed by master scientists who have only one goalâthe total destruction of the Earthly universe which, to them, is but a molecule in their macrocosm. But the invaders have reckoned without the intervention of the Cosmic Crusadersâthe Golden Amazon, Abna, Viona and Mexoneâwho pit their strength and scientific ingenuity against Lixom, the leader of the invadersâa duel with Colossus. But it seems to be a duel that the Crusaders must lose when, separated from their mighty spaceship, the Ultra, they are projected by Lixom thousands of years into the past, to materializeâcompletely unprotectedâin the deadly vacuum of outer space!

The Golden Amazon was one of John Russell Fearn's best-known characters, and appeared in 26 books written by him, with an additional one posthumously written by his biographer, Philip Harbottle, based on notes left by him, and with four more posthumously written by John Glasby. After the first six books were published, Fearn tweaked the Golden Amazon's origin, and the final 25 books in the series all take place in the far future. When they were initially reprinted, the decision was made to have these published as two separate series - the first 6 books being The Original Golden Amazon series, and the rest being The Golden Amazon Saga. Technically speaking, the Saga continues the story from the Original series, but I am adopting the two different series titles to keep in accordance with the publishing history.
