haha no.. as written on this page here .. this episode went on air on 24th Sep 2017. |
This show ended and has been de-canonized. Why is this listed as new? |
I think Discovery is bad but it hasn't been "de-canonized" that was a report by CosmicBook news, which took a throw away line in Lower Decks and made a "news" article about it. |
Because it's free. In 2017 it was brand new. Just pretend you went back in time. You won't even notice the difference. |
BEGGARS can't be choosers, huh? ... |
The first two seasons were okay-ish. Things fell apart in season 3 and it only got worse from there. |
The first season was an act of desecration in the way it reframed the Klingons and which caused the brand serious credibility issues. Little wonder they had to hurriedly create a convoluted narrative which both justified that particular strain of Klingon and its demise (normal Klingons appeared in later seasons). |
It's ironic that TGX chose the series that first undermined the Star Trek brand with its woeful interpretation of the Klingons that they conveniently scrapped after first season with a hurriedly created cover story to excuse it meaning the series had to be rebooted in a whole different direction. If you can suffer the dire wokery of the first two seasons it does eventually turn into a decent sci-fi show but only after you've held your nose for two seasons or more. At least the Star trek franchise recognised the stupidity of the woke agenda and have toned it down considerably in its more recent series |
What's disappointing are those who misuse the word 'woke' because they have no understanding of what it means to be tolerant, accepting, intelligent and enlightened. In other words ... bigots like Archie Bunker whose small-minded views died in the 1970's. |
