Ad interruptions @: 10:02 - 10:33 & 46:32 - 47:03 Ad on screen @: 03:03 - 03:16 1:52:54 1:53:10 A/V 5/4 Audio: Flat but audible. Action scenes highlight the poor quality. A few audience noises as well but nothing egregious. Video: Washed out and very low quality. Video is still distinguishable in most scenes. The movie itself is fine. If you've recently watched the original then you won't be missing out if you don't see this one. If you haven't seen the original then just watch it instead and maybe catch this one when it comes to streaming and you give it your divided attention while you do other things. While not a 1:1 copy of the original, it certainly comes close with some scenes and doesn't give much effort to stand on its own. 5/10. Thanks for the upload! |
Thanks for rating this. I don't mind their ads when it's a quality CAM but sounds like it's worth waiting a little longer for something worth watching. |
Audio: Flat but audible The audio mixed is in Dolby Atmos, DTS:X, Auro 11.1,D-Cinema 96kHz, 7.112-Track Digital Sound, Dolby Surround 7.1 and Dolby Digital, so yeah, flat but audible |
1202 reads the names in what was mixed and instantly believe it is the best audio he is going to hear in his life. I miss being THAT innocent. |
"This is an in-name-only sequel to Twister (1996). The story is entirely new and updated to today's methods and techniques of tornado hunting, with no returning characters. The only connection is a mention of the 'Dorothy' research device, which in turn inspires the protagonists to name their machines 'Tin Man', 'Lion', 'Scarecrow' and 'Wizard'." SOURCE = https://www.imdb.com/title/tt12584954/trivia/ thank you TGxMovies for the share 👍 |
The only thing I liked about twister besides the (at the time) insane visual effects was the legend himself, Bill Paxton. RIP good sir, you are missed. |
@Guest-4187 Another legend gone too soon. I completely forgot about the role of Dusty somehow; he did an excellent job in Twister as well.. and he's been great in several of my favorite films, like Moneyball, Red Dragon, and The Talented Mr. Ripley. RIP good sir, you are also missed |
If'n it aiin't go them thar sharks in 'em then ah ain't entrested nun. |
Thanks! Given Universal's release patterns, which typically see films landing on Peacock approximately 90 days post-theatrical release, Twisters could hit streaming screens around October 2024 |
It has the gambling website overlaid on the picture. I wouldn't recommend it. |
Yeah, the cam is pretty bad but the movie looks like it will be a blast to watch. Maybe the movie will influence a gaggle of those idiot influencers (sorry for the redundancy) to give Tornado Chasing a try. The Score? Tornadoes make a clean sweep, Influencers RIP. That one I'd pay to see. |
Question. Why are they looking forward when the twister is behind them? |
cams have never made sense to me, crappy quality audio and video loaded with banners and ads, just always seemed better off waiting awhile for a superior quality! But thanks just the same for the effort made. |
Clearly, you didn't have 5 kids back in the 90s that you couldn't afford to take to see Toy Story. Well, neither did I but this comment started off good huh? |
It blows my mind that people actually watch stuff like this. The experience is everything and that is why I would never bother with these type of uploads.Immersion is important and whatever you can do to improve immersion,do it.That means don't watch stuff like this.As it is most stuff today is just rehash run of the mill woke nonsense.Older movies in HDR 4k is the way to go.Don't forget...immersion and substance, without the woke BS,thats earlier movies. |
Very true, experience is everything and that is why we wait it out until the VSUHDCAM HDR 2048K release to enjoy the full cinematic experience |
If you watch older movies is it impossible to find anything 'woke' Dunno Maybe 'woke' wasn't a thing back in the day |
i will not let my brain watch this and mess with my love of the original |
I didn't like the original, hope this one has a good twist... |
