| This movie had so much potential but it was just mid ....If i had to pin point what went wrong, i would say that they underutilised ryans natural comedic talents and the casting for the little girl was just wrong ..Her stone face demeanor just seemed out of place....She'd probably been good cast as a mean girl in some other kids movie... |

| Actually I think she was cast very well, she's a 12 year old girl dealing with some very grown up situations and trying to keep it together. Being stoic is a defence mechanism and perfectly suited to the arc of her story. |
