I thought Cage was done after his 2000s flops & long "make a million movies for money" (still ongoing) phase & didn't pay much attention to him, then boom!  this comes out of nowhere & is fantastic. Solid 8/10 (I never rate higher than a 9). Color Out of Space is similar, but not as good imo. |

| Mandy is the kind of movie you can watch with your Parents. I feel the need the need for Violent Revenge. Cage has had some great movies in recent past that I really loved like Pig, Dream Scenario, The Unbearable Weight Of Massive Talent, Joe, Willy's Wonderland. |

| Sure Toe; I meant that I wasn't seeing much of interest from Cage from the early 2000's on until this one, & it started an upwards curve for him imo. Really, for me, starting with National Treasure, he sharply declined in movie choice, & except for a couple here & there I didn't like much until this one & some after. |

| I'm with Guest-3954... sorry but this... Look, I WAS a Cage fan, occasionally even post 2000, but this... it is not even acting. He's making some moves, lips lurking, mouth continuously open, drooling meaningless words... I made it to at about 20 minutes then decided there were infinitely much better things to with my evening (even if I made it 205 this movie wouldn't be worth it). Including Cage, the weird woman, the red shine and what I imagine are Ed Wood like psychological 'demons' about to creep in this was going nowhere. Even the silly 'Evil' series is more fun, sorry  |
