Fun movie. Sheer popcorn. Really a pretty funny movie; both Gosling and Blunt are great comedians. Some nice action too. 7/10: nothing incredible, but you'll be entertained. The 10bit-GalaxyRG265 is perfect size to quality ratio once again. Thanks! |
Yep you can't bet the GalaxyRG265. It is just as good as some that are twice the file size. I think it's right in the middle with Perfect Quality to Perfect Size Ratio. Not too huge & not too small. |
A fun film if you accept it as a stand-alone film about stunt guys & films (shame they had to include the Fall Guy name to attempt a reboot/remake) Lee Majors small cameo isn't that great, guess they just wanted some association & 'approval' from the original. It does use the old theme music which is good and have a stunt reel at the end which is worth watching. Overall - watchable, no-brainer action film that is fun. |
Cool! I was waiting for this one. Coincidently, I was having dinner with friends at Goulburn St at the Sydney CBD on the night they were filming one of the car parking scenes. This was the car park: https://www.secureparking.com.au/en-au/car-parks/australia/nsw/goulburn-street-sydney-car-park/ Cheers and thanks for the upload. |
Great flick! But dl the 1400 mb version not this one thank you Galaxy! |
Tired old storyline filled with film industry jokes that no one cares about. Terrible movie, very poor chemistry between the leads. |
Watched it "The Fall Guy" is a cinematic rollercoaster that harkens back to the golden age of action-packed, stunt-driven blockbusters. With Ryan Gosling at the helm as Colt Seavers, the film delivers a one-two punch of charm and adrenaline that's as refreshing as finding an unopened can of soda in the desert. Gosling's Seavers is a stuntman with more lives than a cat and more luck than a four-leaf clover at a bingo hall. Emily Blunt, as Jody, is the perfect counterbalance, bringing a performance that's as sharp as a tack and twice as shiny. Director David Leitch, a maestro of mayhem, orchestrates the chaos with the precision of a Swiss watchmaker on an espresso binge. The plot? It's like a jigsaw puzzle in a blender—good luck piecing it together—but who cares when the action sequences hit you like a pie in the face at a clown convention. In short, "The Fall Guy" is the kind of movie that reminds you why popcorn was invented. It's not just a film; it's a two-hour vacation for your brain with a side of nostalgia. Buckle up, buttercup, because this is one ride you don't want to miss. |
Ryan Gosling? WTF were they thinking? He ain't fit to shine Lee Majors' shoes! Why is it that every movie based on an old television show sucks? They either turn them into idiot comedies (Starsky & Hutch, CHiPs) or they go for the worst casting options available. HARD pass! |
CHiPs was a rip-off of Electra Glide In Blue [the motorcycles the cops rode ] (1973 Watched it many times as kid Real shock ending kind of like Easy Rider |
Starsky and Hutch is where the good cop / bad cop routine originated RIP David Soul Don't give up on us, baby |
CHiPs was not a rip-off of Electra Glide in Blue. CHiPs was officially based on EGIB |
CHP stood for Californian Highway Patrol but what were the 'i' and 's' doing in there |
Been waiting for this one, thank you. Ryan Gosling, guaranteed worth a watch 👍 |
The only important question is: Does Lee Majors have a cameo..? |
Haven't watched it but I had asked my sister who watched it in cinema and she said yes. I hope the title song by him gets some play in it also. I remember recording it on a cassette and playing it on my walkman. |
