 | Thank you. So this is a remake of "Alive?" I will check it out...thought the original was extremely good at telling this real life air disaster and subsequent fight for survival. |

| Just watched...it is about 10 minutes (of actual film - minus the credits) longer than the 1993 version, "Alive." I am not really sure which film was more accurate, although it seemed like this one might of been more factual vs dramatic and more graphic with the eaten bodies. A lot more about the rescue. |

| Skimmed through the encode, quality is EXCELLENT, great bitrate, best for me and the SDH audience is the black bars . Will post sub if retail in good shape, but I'm watching/binging "Brothers Sun", on ep05 currently. Very good watch so far. |

 | One of my cousins thought it a good idea to make some popcorn to go with this. Well, one way or the other once the munching started all the popcorn ended up flushed down the toilet. I must admit though, director Bayona has devoted special attention throughout, to the "food of the hour".  |

 | Opensubtitles.org has the English subs for this. This movie is very similar to Alive, but perhaps a little more factual, apart from the dead narrator! Parrado himself was involved in this production. Well worth a watch even if you've seem Alive. Thanks uploader. |

| Subtitles are soft and multiple languages included...I could not find the English version that just translated written text...like the note at the end so I just left them on. The audio is English dubbed only, not option to change. |

| in regards to the muxed (soft) selectable subs, the DEFAULT is English but for Spanish audio. For this DUBBED audio version select either "Dub English" or "SDH English". Happy New Year  |

 | Reading the book at the moment that the original movie Alive was based on, It's very good, but there are definitely things that didn't make it into the movie. My guess is that this one is a more accurate adaption of the actual events. which isn't a bad thing!. The initial crash scene in Alive was very accurate though. Havn't seen the movie in a long long time, but when it's described in Piers Paul Read's book, it brought those scenes back to me!. especially the shot of people flying out the back end of the plane still strapped to their seats!. a horrifying thought. |
