Watched it. Cat Person is a tricky film. The basis of the film is how we, as humans, strive to connect and navigate the tumultuous world of dating. There are 2 characters trying to connect, first on a virtual journey and then on a physical one. It’s a meditation on connecting and how our own fears and mistrusts often doom us from the outset. The weight of the movie is shouldered by the actors, not the direction. While the chemistry between the 2 actors is not perfect, Braun excels as a man trying to overcompensate to the point of losing his mind. There is a flavor of sweetness and charm to the moral of the story. The title of the movie is not entirely clarified until the last 10 minutes, but when unveiled, expect a good laugh. The movie flows with little drag or unnecessary plots. |
Nicholas Braun 6'7" is 13 inches taller than Emilia Jones 5'6". So the Cover for the movie makes no sense. She must be standing on a 10 inch block of wood. |
The studio keeps a few of those blocks around for when Tom Cruise visits. |
Oh FFS even without the block she's about 6" taller than me |
Dude, why are you so weird? Can you just be happy with a fictional movie? Why the need to be an |
On cat person 2, they are gonna get danny devito so she looks like She hulk towering over him. |
Straight men aren't lesbians, dude. This is why it is so important to have proper sex education since kinder garden. Lesbian is when you are born a woman and you like women. If you were born a dude and you like women that doesn't make you a lesbian, that makes you heterosexual/straight. It's not that hard to understand |
azy I remember this one dude in the Bible, named Jesus Christ or something, I guess he was kind of important in that book, saying ‘YOU SHALL LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF.’ You should try to live like that Jesus fella and stop hating those who live like they want, even if it's not how you want. Peace be with u, dude |
My mistake, the bible dude was not azy, it was Guest-4134. |
The Bible says for they do not know what they have done. So the world (no morals whatsoever) does whatever it wants & defends their sinning. Like with all the churches you can do whatever you want as long as you come to church on Sunday & then you are Forgiven. Does that sound correct to you? |
They are crossing in a staircase. One is going up, the other one is going down... Duh... So obvious |
I think I must be missing something, I can’t find a Guest-4134 anywhere. This is all very confusing, what have straight men and lesbians (Guest-2632) got to do with anything? |
Thank you for appreciating, you are so grateful and polite, There should be more nice people like you here |
Watch the film and your question will be fully answered. |
Tell me you didn't watch this movie without telling me you didn't watch this movie There are no cats, there is no catfishing |
It is not catfishing when the chick picks the dude up in person Catfishing is more a fake online persona like a dude pretending to be a chick or vice versa |
The is a 'meow' on the soundtrack towards the beginning so maybe that is the cat |
they actually turned that stupid short story into a movie?? morons |
I love the way Emilia Jones appearance here, looks so cute and sweet naturally, but not the storyline. |
Isabella Rossellini is also in this. Emilia Jones needs a new haircut. |
Maybe she can't afford one now that the Doctor Who work has dried up |
That was Jenna Coleman; this one had just one episode in Doctor Who. |
Fun factoid: Tom Jones famously said 'When you make love to a woman you want to do one of two things: Marry her. Or Crawl away' Hmm... |
With a name like Jones and 'Jones' being a Welsh name and Tom Jones being Welsh 'n' all it's anyone's guess |
She's actually the daughter of another Welsh singer, Aled Jones. |
Emilia Jones is the daughter of Aled Jones and Claire Fossett |
Movie is a mash up of everything and nothing. At times the lead actress is portrayed as psychotic, sometimes the male looks a delirious psychopath. Sometimes the direction swerves to take a dig at wokeness. The therapy sessions appear suddenly and stop recurring without explanation. Unlike the plot summary on imdb, there no 'exploration' on horrors of dating, nor on challenges in relations with an age disparity. The sex scene that was central to the plot was entirely disappointing. Not only because I was expecting some "goodies" from Emilia Jones, but also because it appeared both harrowing and comic at the same time as Margot seemed to break the fourth wall more, than converse with herself with what seemed to be her other personas. |
