Personally, I thought this was a great story of love and optimism in the face of unimaginable trauma and fear. Thank you so much GalaxyRG |
Jews have lived in the land of Israel for nearly 4000 years, going back to the period of the Biblical patriarchs (c. 1900 BCE). The area of ancient Israel was predominantly Jewish until the Jewish–Roman wars of 66–136 CE. |
Yet the "land of Israel" wasn't called Israel until 1948. It was called Palestine. And before that, Judah and Philistine. |
So the influx of palestinian/israeli/middle eastern films have attracted a crapton of new users/commenters that suddenly have an interest in movies. FML. Just watch the movie if you are interested, and pass if you aren't. While opinion/reviews are great, a giant diatribe against IDF/HAMAS etc., should be moved to other forums of discussion on the internet imho. |
now Israel action movies? Even im a bit fed up with the media telling both sides of the story in different ways. You haven't been able to trust the media since c0vid |
How brave to use hip hop to fight against the oppression of their elected leaders, Hamas, that hide munitions in their hospitals and schools, and use the people as bullet shields. However, this film doesn't show those objective truths. It's very misleading. |
you do know that modern 'israel' was formed only several decades ago after the british and allies got so sick of zionist terrorists deliberately bombing civilian targets they gave up, agreed to recognize 'israel' over the existing nations who owned that land and left... |
Forget it 3968, the Brrzrrkrr account never offers more than barroom opinion, based on (maybe) reading a few books written by other hate-filled individuals. t takes time and effort to debunk their sort of lies and misinformation, and they and their flock believe what they want to anyway. |
3968, I'm so glad you are an expert on the Balfour Declaration, the Ottoman Empire prior to 1919 and the territorial rights of settlers for hundreds of years of all faiths that settled in Palestine. there were no "existing nations who owned that land and left?" |
