Watched it. The CAM version of this film is difficult to view at times, colors are washed out. Movie takes place in the 70’s at a boarding school. The movie is character driven, Giamatti plays a curmudgeonly professor forced to babysit students who have no place to go for the holiday. The movie’s premise evolves around 3 characters and their backstory. There are themes of loss, loneliness and forgiveness. The movie has moments of comedic relief, but more time is devoted to dramatic backstorys. The problem is the narrative becomes tedious and formulaic toward the end. The interaction between the 2 male characters feels forced at times and fleeting, especially the last 10 minutes of the film. |
Hey guys and dolls, been a while but needed to post over this one that's UNWATCHABLE, Indian theater watershed out poor sound and to top it off SO FAR out of frame it's like we're sitting front row while lookin thru a solar eclipse box right? Like a camera obscura slit? |
CAMMERS can't always pick the exact seat they want in the movie theater |
