| Clearly someone with a movie plot, shopping it around from studio to studio, production company to production company... Two different companies go: "Hey good idea but keep quiet." in the meeting. Then they use in-house writers to make their own version. How one of the two plagiarist studios isn't getting sued I don't know. Someone bought the rights to the story and the other just ran with it after the pitch meeting. |
