Dennis Leigh Meehan (b. March 7, 1947 in New Hampshire, USA) is a guitarist, bass player, and audio engineer. Musically active in Norman, OK and Austin, TX (where he recorded 4 albums with a surf band called 'The Plungers'), before retiring and moving to Vermont. He is the owner of No Sweat Records,
Ranked #112 in the first edition of the Power Pop Guide, the album goes to #133 in the 2018 edition. Clovis Roblaine, whose real name was Dennis Meehan (Clovis ROBLAIN was the first heart transplant patient having undergone an operation carried out in France 1968 - hence the original artwork). His album is a pop masterpiece, sort of Anglophile pop drawing on pop music from the late 50s (somewhat wall-of-sound obsessive) up to till the late 70's powerpop. This is one of the more obscure power pop albums of its time - only 500 copies were pressed. In 2008, the album was finally remastered and reissued with 6 bonus tracks and a vastly inferior picture sleeve. This is the original mix with the original artwork.
