| THE FACTS: -Producer Tim Ballard accused of sexual misconduct with multiple women, allegations have yet to be proven and Tim Ballard is still living life normally as he should. -Producer paul hutchinson accused of groping a young woman's breasts in Mexico. Allegations have been denied heavily. -A portion of crowdfunding money came from Fabian Marta, anonymously, who was arrested for Felony Child Kidnapping. He's completely unrelated to the film besides his anonymous contribution. The producers have not even been charged, there is no proof at this point. I see alot of comments on here condemning the movie based on what people think are facts. I implore you to do your own research, because I KNOW, SEVERAL of these posters have backed actors in other film posts which were accused of heinous acts. It's INNOCENT before proven GUILTY, so why are several of you spouting off negativity based on personal beliefs, and slowing the spread of this film which does great things for the subject matter by just existing and being commercially successful. Some of the comments on this thread sicken me, and further bolster the ideology of GUILTY before proven INNOCENT. Not only that, the importance of this movie goes beyond individual accusations, and a lot of you are slowing the spread of it's message via personal vendetta. I'll happily eat my words if more information comes to light about the accusers of the producers and statements are proven as facts. I will, however, always believe in innocent before proven guilty. I'll leave you with this; what's more important, spreading awareness about child sex trafficking.. or playing the blame game with producers who haven't even been charged with a crime at this point? I hope, for the sake of our world, you choose the former. |

| Look into the organization "Slave Stealers". Tim Ballard was going to strip clubs in Mexico with lots of money and just asking them to bring him younger girls until they were young enough. He wasn't stopping human trafficking. He was actually adopting out children from these countries to rich white families in the US. |

The technology just isn't there yet, so it really suspended my belief for a brief moment. Fortunately, that's all it was, a brief moment that distracted from the narrative which quickly recovered |

| Disturbing, disgusting, appalling, sickening, and BRILLIANT—this is a subject that needs more exposure, and Sound of Freedom is courageous enough to do so while maintaining a narrative that simultaneously informs and entertains. The film is shot incredibly well and is more truthful than most "based on a true story" movies that manipulate major plot points sheerly to make the movie a bit more popular. The director/co-writer, Alejandro Monteverde, has stated that about 75% of the storyline is truthful, changing some times and characters to make the plot more cohesive. The fact still stands; the overarching story is reality and not to be taken lightly. You won't be cheerful while watching; in fact, you'll probably be depressed and concerned about events that coincide all too perfectly in real life. I felt like i needed a shower afterwards and audibly grunted in disgust multiple times throughout the film. I can't stress enough how important this subject matter is, and how serious the problem has been for years. Children make up 27% of all human trafficking victims worldwide. This film has the cojones to shove the problem in your face and does so while keeping your attention throughout the two hour runtime. Enjoy, and please remember why it was made in the first place. TY FOR THE UP!! -I've decided to separate the producers scandals about the film into another post. Feel free to weigh in if inclined to do so  |

| Sound of Freedom is a good movie, as is Spotlight. Both deal with child abuse, one by kidnapping and slavery, and the other by priests of the RC church. Both movies are eye openers to the disgusting way children are being abused. The more people that become aware of this the better. |
