Watched it. A gay bachelor party turns into a nightmare with loads of laughs. 5 gay men summon an evil spirit - Sylvia. The banter is hysterical. The physical comedy is on mark. Its a fun time. The story is ridiculous but the actors pull it off, it is well paced and keeps you on your toes. There is also a twist at the end. |
Thank you for an actual review, refreshing to see somebody take the time to watch a movie and review instead of critise it based on not even seeing it. |
Telling people there is a twist at the end, ruins that there is a twist at the end. Please avoid doing this. |
Queer Eye for The Dead Guy It wasn't totally terrible. It's low budget and was shot in just 19 days, and that shows. The cast, well except for one of them, was better than the script or the budget deserved. It has some funny moments, but no horror moments to speak of really, but it was clearly made more of a comedy than a horror. |
The horror was what the hetero guy experienced when he unwittingly showed up to a gaycation. |
Viewed this just now and from a straight guys point of view (well hmmm) it's surprisingly very good and very funny. Forget the horror as there is none but as a comedy with a great cast it's entertaining. Would recommend to all except the haters, and you know who you are... don't you. |
"Focus on the movie", staff once told me. Look at these posts. How many are there "on the movie"? Instead there are plenty about people's homophobia. How is that "focussing on the movie"? |
Ahh man that trailer made me laugh, deffo gonna be watching this today. Thank you for the upload. |
I truly pity the person that wrote this plot, how sad to be like this. |
It's remarkable how men get a standing ovation when they say how often they got laid and with whom and when and how. But when another man says he's gay —without any detail whatsoever— he gets booed; he must not talk about his sexual preferences, not to mention activities. Talking about double standards and for the love of pot not able to see how double they are. |
Oh dear: Frankie Grande = HARD PASS. There's no way any movie he's in can be of any possible value. Big Brother Season 16 says Hello. |
Gaycation? wtf is wrong with the world today? Hard pass and yes, it is because of the gay agenda stuff. Save your reverse psychology comments. I simply do not morally agree with that stuff and I will die still feeling that way. I have never taken a vacation to showcase my sexual bents or for conquest/debauchery. DADT worked well for me. |
But spring break is okay for you? You don't agree with the liberty of people to have their preferences? What forces you to publish your "sexual bent" with every single comment? Isn't that "showcasing", justsomedude6x? |
I see the word Gay and I hard pass. You can make a movie about a group of friends holding a bachelor party in a house that turned out to be haunted without ever need to mention/specify their sexual orientation and still have a movie. It's like this guy who was proud to announce he is the first openly gay player to be drafted in the NFL when he was picked up by the St. Louis Rams. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Michael_Sam Well, what does it matter if he is gay. He is getting hired in the NFL to play football. Not to be a bottom in Gay Porn. All that openly gay publicity didn't help his NFL career one bit. He played 2 pre-season games with the Rams and was cut when all teams are required to pare down to 53 players roster before the start of the regular season. Then Dallas Cowboys pick him up for their practice squad and he was cut after 6 weeks. He never played in the NFL again after that. He play some Canadian Football (2 games) and then QUIT and didn't play football for any team in any league for 7 years before being drafted by a European Football team in 2022 and then cut from there again. He should had concentrated more on his football skills and earning a spot on the starter team instead of drawing attention to himself about being gay. PRIORITIES, MAN! PRIORITIES!! HIS PRIORITIES WERE ASKEW! |
"You can make a movie about a group of friends holding a bachelor party in a house that turned out to be haunted without ever need to mention/specify their sexual orientation and still have a movie." So what you are saying is the sexual orientation of the characters doesn't matter right? Right. |
Why dont you review the actual movie, this post should be removed (mine probably will be instead again!) as it is not about the movie and just your homophobic tendancies "I see the word Gay and I hard pass" thats your review? You could ahve watched 20 minutes of ther movie and give a proper idea (moreso) of the mnovie. |
@Guest-1379 thats because you proabably are jaxe or a friend 🤣 |
if it doesn't matter to mention/specify their sexual orientation, why are you mentioning it? because you want to say it matters to you without saying it matters to you and your 2nd "example is obviously what we call an Occam's razor |
I watched the trailer for this and HARD PASS. not because I am anti-gay or anything like that, it's just that this is another movie where the homosexuals are wildly exaggerate and the heterosexual are meat eating grunts. This can not be good for either group. It's like making fun of mentally handicapped, just not funny |
" So what you are saying is the sexual orientation of the characters doesn't matter right? Right." No, I think he is saying you could make the same movie without the "gaysploytation" of the characters. |
this movie has been on digital for a year already, you were already passing it up |
Your own personal standards that you set for yourself and choose to live by should have nothing to do with reviewing how good a movie is |
When the synopsis of a movie makes a point of it's gay qualities, then that is obviously the central theme and priority of the filmmaker. It is normal and reasonable for those uninterested in, or aesthetically repulsed by homosexuality to pass on it, the same way they'd pass on gay porn. It's for a specific audience. |
And yet not everyone who passes on movie, as we all do each and every day, feels the need to be vocal about it all the time. That's the difference, Brrzrrkrr. |
