Read this on my morning bus rides to school in nowhere Maine, when it would be invariably foggy each morning. Added to the atmosphere to say the least. |
Some books by Stephen King are well filmed, this is one of them that succeeded according to the model. |
Thanks for the 3000+ bit rate, excellent quality/size ratio for me .... 👌👍✌👏 S420 |
Watched it. The Mist combines a cast of talented actors with one stop shopping. The mood and atmosphere maintains a tonal darkness that reminds me of John Carpenter's THE FOG. There is something in the....................mist. It's deadly and pissed off. The Mist takes place primarily in a grocery, fun ensues when people attempt to outrun what is in the mist or attempt to keep it out. The movie works because of the character development. There are the usual suspects trying to save themselves or others but mostly others trying to save themselves by usual others as a shield or bait to lure the "mist" away. Front start to finish the movie works by making you care about the characters. |
compared to (the original) "the fog" - its total rubbish. nice ending though |
alright for a while but ends up feeling like a tv movie - the ending is hilarious though |
I saw this in the theaters when it came out. During one pivotal scene, I screamed out loudly at the screen: "Serves you right, BITCH! Where's your fucking bullshit God and Religion now?!? Everyone in the theater cheered and whistled and applauded at me, chanting: YES SIR! RIGHT ON! YOU GOT THAT RIGHT! PREACH IT BROTHER! Some even stood up from their seats! |
Please don't!, that is why I stopped going to theaters, "NOISE". |
that one scene hurt you so much imagine hating a movie because you think it's attacking "your religion." |
So, what you're saying is, you're as much of a nightmare in an actual movie theatre as you are here. Good to know, good to know |
Lol, do you people actually believe his story? As much as I dislike Jaxe and his manic and pointless commentary, this one is clearly a joke. No one in the history of movie theaters has ever been applauded for being loud and obnoxious. |
Yes, that was my feeling at that moment too, filthy religion cult blood-sucking vampires. A damn good movie, with a horrible miserable ending, I wished I could give him a bullet to end his life, which was destroyed beyond repair. Hopefully I never have to experience that. Cheersm8. |
