I know this guy from somewhere, I can't yet put my little finger on where exactly. |
The guy on the art cover? He's been in a lot of stuff https://www.imdb.com/name/nm0318821/ |
Far too complicated for a genius… |
He is an iron hoof , renowned shirt lifter . very popular amongst the married democrats . |
Aidan Gillen, Has been in a lot of TV shows and Movies for example ... KIN, Those Who Wish Me Dead, Blitz and many more. Good actor. |
Yes, agreed. Simple titles so they are easily comprehended by the simple audience. |
I think this is Taken 4, but with a younger Neeson and in Ireland. Didn't watch yet, just my assumption based on reading the dull plot. |
"Set in Dublin against the background of a global pandemic" Why put that in the script? You can still have a movie without that plot device! |
because it was literally a global event that lasted multiple years? isn't it a laudable goal for art to attempt to reflect the world it was created in..? |
@Jovian: Your question is irrelevant at this juncture. We would have to see if the "global pandemic" is actually a part of the plot of the story. Or even more so, if it is a player in the theme. If it is signifies neither role, then it is a worthless addition to the movie, and its inclusion is entirely unnecessary. |
Does no one here understand what "background" means? No, a background does NOT play a part in the plot, but is a oooh shocker: background. Your allergy for the even the word pandemic is hilarious, but to look for improper arguments to diss a movie is simply ludicrous. |
@Guest: Is his argument truly "improper"? No matter what definition of improper you are implying, I would posit more that your argument of his argument being improper is more improper than of his argument being improper. Wouldn't you? |
Ever seen a movie without any background? And even if the background were a white sheet, that's still a background. Background never has a "role" in a movie, but it is essential, nonetheless. So yes, it deserves mentioning. |
