the brightness is the main indicator. If you look at the screens of the movie, you can see they are normal bright but if this movie was in HDR, those screens would darkish |
well also just the fact that the file name doesn't say "HDR", so SDR it is. As for 10bit I think that usually goes with 2160p. |
20 GB ???? For a x265 animation??? Are you insane? x265 is a really good encoder for animation, a 2k should not be larger than say 6 to 8 GB, HD 3 to 4 GB. Skipping my 1gbps seeding power until a different grup releases something decent. |

You need to understand that certain elements are absolute hell for encoders to compress without massive loss in quality. In this case, it's the artstyle. It's almost as difficult (if not more) to compress than film grain. That is why this is so large. |
