After a mysterious accident at a research camp on the Isle of Gran Manan, a CEO hires a team of blue-collar mercenaries to extract his daughter, a scientist working at the camp. Upon arrival, the team soon learns that not only is the island surrounded by a wormhole that causes time to reset every three days, but it's also crawling with hideous monsters. As they learn more about the nature of time, space, and the creatures on the island, they quickly realize that death may be the easiest way to escape the island.

 | Everything about this movie is terrible. The emaciated short female lead who desperately needs a sandwich is the worse. The acting is not fluid, it does not run like continuous thriller, the acting is stacato - like every scene was pieced together without coherency - poor editing. The dramatic music attempts to makeup for the lackluster directing. The director needs directing. It has a flavor of Aliens. |

| That's exactly the point that 3179 was making. When a no name Director get the same actors in 2 of the last movies he's done then he is a director making movies. |

| There is a definite "B" grade (or possibly worse) vibe about this film, but given the desert that is sci-fi/horror films as of late with interesting plots, I'll at least give this 30 minutes of my time. In my opinion a movie needs two of the following three things to be successful (1) Good plot (2) Good direction (3) Good acting But I am far more forgiving than many folk when it comes to indie/low-budget films, though the director does seem obsessed with bigfoot/wendigo lore if his past films are anything to go by. Eh, I'm home sick from work, what else am I gonna watch? |
