what, you dont believe a 5'7" 125 lb soaking wet woman can physically kick grown men across rooms, through walls, etc with ease? that she cant easily beat 5 trained men without taking any damage herself? pfttt. shes the most believable action star ever. |
If you'd watched the movie, you'd know that doesn't happen, at all. It might have been more entertaining if it had. No, the nearest we get is a knife fight that doesn't look as good as well-practised Tanto Dori (knife defence) in a local dojo |
I do not understand the Hollywood infatuation with Ruby Rose and the need to put her in roles where she is a 'badass'. Hollywoke is so confused it has no idea how to cast a movie. They can't even write a movie never mind cast a movie. Casting is one of those things often overlooked but super important! |
Thank you GalaxyRG for another great quality share The movie however, is not that great. None of the actors turn in their best work. Johnson and Gibson were average (which I suppose is very nearly their best work ); Till looked like he got lost between covers of GQ and Men's Health without picking up a script. Near the end he gets a serious leg wound, and about 30 seconds later he forgets to even limp That's probably not only his fault, but it sums up the movie really. Lots of guns, lots of firepower, lots of silliness and poor choreography (the knife fight looked like a dance FFS). I like Ruby Rose, I've enjoyed almost everything I've seen her in, but her and her knife-wielding partner don't even make it to caricature Bond-villain status. It's all very forgettable really, and has already been cleared out of my Trash Bin. Thanks anyway GalaxyRG your efforts are always appreciated |
Absolutely, this is the most honest and best comment and review I have seen in this forum in years. Besting Jaxe!! |
'Trash bin' We've already burned this movie to celluloid for archiving and posterity We want future generations to enjoy this cinematic masterpiece |
indeed , 16 minutes in and the editor already has Tyrese repeating the same line twice in 5 seconds (sure, it was a different camera angle) |
Thanks for a review, I love the experts on how a small women cannot combat with the big men , people who dont understand how martial arts work, its not the size of the person its how the technique and strength is used. Look at the size of Bruce Lee |
It's probably why we don't have weight classes in combat sports... Oh wait! We do have them! I wonder why. Now imagine what would happen if Alexandre Pantoja would find himself in the octagon against John Jones. Give it a minute... Yeah, exactly, genius ;) |
Free movie? wow, thanks. some will still look for a reason to complain about it. Just enjoy. |
Daily routine around here. It's never about the movie, though, it's an existential issue. |
On a site where they are offering thousands of free movies making such an observation is about as contrived and crass as you can get |
Whether they offer one or thousands of movies, being ungrateful is still a thing. |
Many thanks! Haven't seen Don Johnson in a movie for a while and like the co-stars too! |
hard to watch. Acting was poor all round. An assassin with limited training going up against experts? Everytime I see Ruby Rose I think "The Jokers lovechild". She has the chin for it. A bit of makeup and voila! |
This movie is so bad , Towards the end of the movie there's a scene where they show a room full of dead people and one of the women who is lying there just starts blinking? lmao, the dialogue is trash so is the camerawork and the editing. Don't waste your time watching this garbage |
MacGyver - Definitely, Roman Pearce - Hell Yeah, Nash Bridges - Awesome and then Ruby Rose - One type of epression, replaced on Batwoman, etc. etc. etc...Maybe she brings something different to this Still worth a watch. Thank you GalaxyRG for what I just know will be a great quality upload. |
