Great movie. Did a thesis on Amy Tan's "The Joy luck club" so I knew I'd like it already (she explored same topics in her work). Plot is a bit corny, but overall a great story about realising what's actually your heritage and how it's not always the place you grew up in, but people who surround you. |
Like a really really really bad episode of friends, and thats being unkind to the worst episode of friends. |
You can always count on jaxe to make the most racist , chauvinist and ignorant comment possible...An obvious Trump supporter..You didn't even watch the movie yet you have completely closed your mind...I get it Americans have become overly PC and shit ,..but you are over correcting . |
Reading the plot, 4 cliche stereotypical Asian characters. Poor lazy writing. |
IKR!!! It's just like that other American movie with 4 Asian characters in it, what that movie called again?... |
When movies and series without stereotypes (regardless of colour or nationality) are to be banned, there will never be any comedies ever again. Even Charlie Chaplin, Stan Laurel, Oliver Hardy and Buster Keaton were stereotypes. So what's your problem this time, surely not the stereotypes. Women? Asian? |
Plot: Four Asian-American friends travel through Asia in search of one of their birth mothers. Along the way, their experience becomes one of bonding, friendship, belonging and no-holds-barred debauchery. Hard pass. Thawne. |
