guess this was why John Cena apologized.. making his way into the chinese market cause this is the future. guess the muricans here will be unhappy theyre the bad guys, guess the truth hurts. no more murican exceptionalism & always being the "good" guys etc.. all part of the global propaganda |
John Chena and Jackie Chena... Epic mix! And yes they go head to head. |
To be fair, the West think that their films are the gold standard in storytelling, their villains and heroes are the World's. Fact of the matter is, this is a planet where both India and China have 1.4+ Billion in population and the United States is only the third largest population, where rank 1, 2 and 4 are all Asian. As such, it is to be expected that, in 2023, the portrayals of heroes and villains shift alongside global powers, especially since these 3 Countries have eyes and can see postcolonialism soft power that is Hollywood propaganda ... |
A movie that despite the amount of English dialogue, is clearly meant for the Chinese market. With using Americans as the 'bad guys' in the same way Americans use Russians as villains, to scripting that denotes Chinese nationalism in stark comparison to the American villains who are mercenaries that subscribe to no nation, the movie does a good job at establishing moral contrasts. The contrasts themselves are interesting in that western viewers would be surprised to see themselves represented as such. While there are moments of classic Jackie Chan action-based humor present in the movie, there are also awkward moments where its clear an attempt was made to mimic western comedy tropes, with such moments falling flat. Those who watch this movie will enjoy it for their love of Jackie Chan, but sadly won't find much beyond Jackie to enjoy. |
believe me not the filmmaker not even the director think about this movie that much....so much time u have |

You know what a guest is? A guests is a potential member who hasn't signed up yet. You greet them with hateful posts and call them 'overrated'. Yeah, that'll encourage them to sign up. Man, you make the worst advertising for anything, ever. |
amazing, out of the three films out today, the one with an ex wrestler and karate person happens to be the best by far, the others are on the same bore draw as the happy clapper and the finding love ones. |
He was 64 when this was filmed in 2018. It took 5 years to be released. |
You call John Cena a "good actor", I call John Cena a "Traitor" to his Country. |
John Xina dude would rather be Chinese, he's definitely a sell out |
Makes sense he'd happily work with Chan, who actually said he wants to be part of the CCP. Cena famously kissed the CCP's ass when he apologised for calling Taiwan a country. |
@jaxie Hahaha, well I think Mr. Chan is crazy enough to do that, it's a "miracle" this man still alive considering the amount of injuries he has over his body, death tried many times to get him but he is a ninja. Worth watching @jaxe John Cena & Jackie Chan. Thawne. |
