to help you, let me say, you can very easily and quickly get just the subs from a mkv or mp4 with a tool such as ffmpeg (if you are technical enough) or mkvmerge (point and click). that second one gives a mks (sub in matroska) though, but this is what i know off top of head |
@Guest-1691 If you download MKVToolnix and install it, at the end of the install process there is a link to a couple of GUI utilities, one of which is called gMKVExtractGUI. Using this you can simply extract the subtitle file(s) you want, and they will be in .srt format directly with no messing about, easy to use. |
