Alter one thing and to hell with the consequences. I enjoyed it. Thanks GalaxyRG |
Brilliant. Loved it. Thanks for the upload, something so original. Especially in the noir genre. |
That was great! Reminded me a lot of another indie sci-fi feux-documentary called Lunopolis. This was actually a little more professionally done. Solid fs and acting. Definitely worth a watch. Both are, really. |
Stop it! Stop it! STOP IT! Now, look! No one... is to stone ANYBODY... until I blow this whistle! Do you understand?! Even if -- and I want to make this absolutely clear -- even if they do say "Lola". |
Looking for a 1080p hevc, I realized Ive downloaded Frivolous Lola instead. Not really complaining except I gotta dl it again. |
Looks good and some good reviews, Thank you, to those who dont understand movie, Black and White is often used for atmosphere and a old classic feel, nothing to do with budget, it makes no difference. |
A/V very good. Much *much* better than its IMDB 6.4 rating. A few too many very interesting plot elements for a 1hr 20 min movie. This would have been great as a 3 (only three) episode series - but only if it had the same quality of writing, economy, and thought that went into the scenario. It's not at all the same but if you liked Primer, you're probably going to like this one. |
What a pile of nonsense this was, it was hard to get past 20 minutes. The attempt to replicate the early 1940s failed from the opening credits and cinematography, to the attempts to inject wokeness into a time that would have absolutely squashed that silliness. They tried to be creative but it comes off as cringy and the story unbelievable. Its nothing short of a branch of the media trying to reinterpret historical factuality's to something they never were. I recommend a hard pass on this one! |
i agree 100%. it's a boring plot. it's pretends to be artistic but it's not. i also don't like the interaction of the sisters. two happy girls reinventing the world? |
Dunno When the chick was climbing up the gas tower we thought we had put on Mission Impossible by mistake And who in their right mind who climb a gas tower in a dress Tom Cruise |
Guest-3724 - You do know that it is under the genre of "Science Fiction (as in not real)", right? |
Dunno Would a 'cat's whisker' wireless receiver in 1940s Britain even pick up Radio Luxembourg never broadcasts from the future |
If you hooked up your 'cat's whisker' to the London mains gas pipe network you may just be able to pull in Radio Luxembourg at night |
Well the plot is definitely the most original sounding one I've read in a while... so going to give it a shot. |
