avatarRegarding my comment above, Finished it and cooled down a little. It's okay for writers to evoke emotion by showing unpleasant acts of cruelty, but this is supposed to be family entertainment. They went too far. I wouldn't let kids watch it. It did turn upbeat at the end, but by then it was too late. Rating it 3/10.

avatarYeah, I liked the movie overall, but I'd agree, I wouldn't want really young kids -- say 12 & under -- to watch some of the animal cruelty scenes; they could be distressing for some. Definitely parental guidance required.

avatarpeople pick names and up/down vote according to a person rather than what you might actually have to say. Great point....  I try not to do that but i have at times down voted 3 folks  based on researching what their past comments were and user events / these things can only be seen if you are a member so that alone is a good reason to take 5 minutes and register.
