I heard whispers of this film awhile back and was intrigued by the story of a true tech giant that lived and died while I watched in real time. It's not just about the technology and companies backstory itself, It's a shrewd take on the cutthroat nature of business; from small startup to Silicon Valley royalty. There's always a bigger fish.. and in the business world, it will take it's share. Excellent acting by Jay Baruchel (This is the End, Goon) and Glenn Howerton (It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia). They both share equal time on the screen and drive the believability of their characters and the entire story immensely. I was impressed by both performances and I feel Howerton will see further success in multiple genres due to his masterful display in the role, Kudos. I hope some of you find the time to watch this while you're enjoying the weekend! TY for the UP!! Top Quality!! |
Interesting story, I enjoyed it. Howerton plays that kind of character very well. |
Looks good enough, Tetris was an excellent biographical thriller film. Thanks galaxyguys. |
Nostalgia anyone? I missed that one, I got my first smartphone in 2017 and it's the one I still use |
If there is an interesting story to tell about Netflix, yeah, why not? |
Whoa has Blackberry? It was a great phone at that time. I had one. |
All of these story's are bullshit, they make up a phony rags to riches backstory to hide the fact that its governments that come up with all this tech crap. If you knew it was your 3 letter agency's that design this stuff you wouldn't want it anywhere near you. |
U r Wrong. We, more to the point I have had all the mAgIC since the beginning of time. Yes, those 3 letter abbreviations actually have more meaning than you think from the beginning of time app. 1000 yrs ago. You have been fed a bunch of lies on my planet, I told you the truth in the beginning. Nothing means nothing. |
Yep, it is three-letter agencies that distribute this tech but they don't invent it - it is alien technology so y'all put down those tin-foil hats |
Pretty funny movie at times with an interesting story to tell |
Folks, why can't you simply stick to commenting on the merit of a release offered here without plunging into ideological quicksands? Whence all these people full of fear and distrust because change is felt to be overwhelming? |
I loved my Blackberry phone! I would buy one in a heartbeat if they came back! |
Please send your requests to a ranch in the middle of the desert that no longer exists. Those are not real people that make those things like most of what is contained on my planet. 51 is Tom Cruise, Taylor Swift, Donald Trump & Ginsu too and lets not forget most of ChInA. We make people, not blackberry's. |
No one finds you to be funny, and your sardonic comments, well, they just suk. Take a vacation from TGX, about a two year vacation. Or a permanent one. Everyone but your little cult is sick of this idiocracy! |
Computers making computers and civilians still calling a fool who got nailed to a cross G_D. How bout Weird Science, personally I would have just stuck the doll, then wasted my time with Lisa. 51 f u |
