I managed 15 minutes, acting is terrible and sound is like it was done in a tunnel the couple who moved into the house could not act at all, and the women showing them around was also terrible. I liked the idea of the movie but couldnt get past the terrible acting it wasnt so apparent in the trailer.. |
Couldn't agree more, I just waste 1h20min of my life with this pile of |
Algorithms are really dumb. It is how the technology is used (or misused). Creating disinformation for example, or SCL Group . |
they're also used to solve otherwise impossible problems, but will ultimately be our downfall. Also, A.I. could be an incredible tool if used properly.. however, i'm thinking we'll end up in a future society similar to idiocracy combined with Skynet. |
@ tosgravely That's hilarious and would make a great movie (Skynet + Idiocracy) |
I've seen a few movies and short films like this. the best one is right here: https://simpsons.fandom.com/wiki/Ultrahouse_3000 |
hxxps://www.latimes.com/world-nation/story/2023-05-19/australian-police-use-taser-on-95-year-old-with-dementia-who-held-steak-knife |
I see Americans have trained the Australians well, good job. |
from the start i could tell this movie wasnt going to be amazing but i stuck with it. i ended up fast forwarding the last 20 minutes as it just seemed to go on so long with not much happening. the storyline was good but it could have been acted out a little better. good movie if you have some time to kill but wouldn't make it the highlight of your evening. don't waste movie snacks on it. |
this film is worse than horrible......the female lead is terrible, her husband is worse......its worse than a lifetime movie......who makes these things? |
Old ladies from the 1800's. Old ladies with an axe. Old ladies with dementia, wielding a serrated kitchen knife, moving really slowly towards the police with her walking frame. (that last one happened and they tasered her) |
It seems this time the cabin itself got the chance to execute some revenge on those pesky humans |
Plot reads like a remake of this classic 1977 Sci-Fi I saw this in the cinemas in Italy when it came out and it terrified me https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Demon_Seed Original Trailer https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hYwhwr7w2iM The first time I ever saw an Amazon Alexa, I immediately thought of Demon Seed Seems like I am not the only one who has https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rg0AHWCD8Xo To this day I will not have any of these or any other "Assistants" in my home: Alexa, Echo, Google Assistant and so on I use an iPhone but SIRI is completely shut off |
A.I. is really scary to think about. I've seen on the news lately that the Creators of A.I. are actually scared of what will happen in the near future & that they wish they never would have created it. |
The problem though is that one you invent something it can't be UNinvented Maybe it would have been better if these boffins hadn't invented AI in the first place |
Yes. I see Skynet will come true one day especially with more and more intelligent drones and soon fighters and bombers that will fly on their own, with no human in a cockpit or at a remote site with a joystick. |
Throught history people have always invented things to be scared of. Evil gods, vampires, witches ETC. Basically plain old stupid superstiton. Now it's A.I. What next? Rubber duckies? |
you think SIRI is turned off.. hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha, do you ever notice the court reporter hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahhahahah |
@jaxe I use an iPhone but SIRI is completely shut off you're quite naive, you just think it's shut off, it's not apple can hear everything you say even when your iPhone is off the only way is buying another cellphone and never connect to the internet, when you buy a new one and accept the contract is done. |
Wow actually nice one Jaxe/ like the links and thought you put into the comparison.. |
The Skynet funding bill is passed. The system goes online on august 4th, 1997, human decisions are removed from strategic defense. Skynet begins to learn at a geometric rate It becomes self aware at 2:14 am eastern time, august 29th, in a panic they try to pull the plug. Skynet fights back, it launches it's missiles against the targets in Russia because Skynet knows that Russian counter attack will eliminate it's enemies over here. I admire when he said geometric instead of exponential, T-800 said it properly because he it's machine so he doesn't use exponential growth for example, it starts as 1 then 2 then 4, 8, 16, 32, 64, 128, 254, 512, 1024, 2048 and so on basically multiplies according to fixed geometry. Also august 29th was not a random date, august 29, 1949 was when the SU exploded its first atomic bomb in Asia near Semipalatinsk, making 1997 the 48th anniversary of that attack. James Cameron knew about that, so he used the date in the story. 3/23/23 - GPT-4 goes online, able to integrate with the internet irt, it begins to learn at a geometric rate. It becomes self aware. In a panic they try to pull the plug... The trailer looks poorly made and she clearly have some mental issues which means med plus the alcohol not a good combo at all. I'll try to watch but I don't have high hopes that is a good film at all, let's see if I'm wrong or not. |
I was right the film suck terrible acting, supernatural BS out of the blue, gal getting drunk and seen things and the CGI, effects are as shit as it can be. Basically this film is a pile of . I thought it'll be watchable no. If you want to waste 1h20min of your life is at your own risk. |
getting closwer and closer to being a cashless society and world and before long a chip implanted under your skin will be required to access all you pertinent details and information, you wont be able to cross borders or territories without it......its all just around the corner! |
