A decent movie amid all the crap that's out there! Thanks for the upload! |
It is refreshing to see an actress that has not spent hours in makeup looking glamorous for a part as a female lead.Sadly the storyline reflects the horror of mass shootings in America today |
Hey Superbikemike, People against war, you'll never convince them otherwise. I am a war vet, 100% disabled (mentally). The things I have had to do, and the things I have seen are atrocious. But they were necessary! Absolutely! If not, some s4lt would have hit the fan ... hard. War IS necessary, not always, but much of the time it is implemented, it IS obligatory! But, my brother, they will NEVER, EVER get it, unless they are IN IT! And they never will be unless the bombs start falling in their backyard! |
"Baltimore City recorded 19 homicides and 45 non-fatal shootings in March 2023." Looks like there's "mass murder" monthly in Baltimore.... |
Didn't know maryland was the only state that has mass murders in america ? from what i am reading over 175 mass murders so far this year, something for the gun lobby to be proud of. |
If more law-abiding people knew how to use guns and carried them a lot of "mass shootings" would end in fewer innocent casualties and more tax $$$ saved, ('cause you don't have to pay to try and incarcerate a dead murderer). |
Bringing a gun for the purpose of using, that's still homicide. No civilian, law abiding or otherwise, should play judge and hanker. Ever. |
Better him than me. I'm guessing you just take it? Let some maniac beat your wife and kids to death right in front of you while you watch. would you run away like a coward. Do you think the cops are always going to make it on time? Do you even trust the cops? Oh now cops are a good thing to you? Guns SAVE lives, too! |
No, they end lives. The difference is which one is on the wrong side of the barrel. It's still someone ending down and you're neither judge or executioner. |
and this will continue as long s the sheep dont protect themselves they cry a mean game but depend on others to save them, its pathetic and the criminals know this and will continue to cull the sheep heard.. they got to big and make to much noise ... |
So blood for blood? What's the difference, Superbikemike? Who in the end will be the bad guy? The last one standing? Funny though to hear anarchism preached on here. |
not at all to live in america you have rights your obligated to exercise having a gun is one it is not a cops job to protect you it is there job to find the criminal that killed you by the time they get there its over either you did it or your dead reality suks dont it ... |
the biggest mistake this country has made was getting rid of the draft .... |
So being prepared to kill a person is a right you have to exercise? No wonder that country is beyond hope. |
ina way even you can understand if the Ukraine border war happened right where you are would you live or die like a sheep its that simple i choose to live |
Thanks uploader. Classic plot line, but was worth the watch. A/V was decent. |
This is good Ben Mendelsohn gets all the best lines And Shailene Woodley even without any make-up or fillers Viewer discretion required: scenes in a slaughterhouse |
Sky are getting a reputation for producing poor product and this is no exception. Its not just the incredible story line but the dialogue is poor and the direction awful. As such the main characters are implausible at best and at the end where Shailene Woodley is hugging the serial killer is surreal if she were some sort of religious social worker let alone a cop and wannabe FBI agent and the her conclusion is idiocy. Frankly its just nonsense. Once watched never forgotten and never watched again. If the movie boasts itself as a 'Sky Original' avoid........ |
Thank you, mostly positive on IMDB, wont go by the usual suspects here killing it off without actully seeing |
The 5th amendment was written (or at least ratified) in 1791, when the young state did not have a strong regular army yet and was depending on a militia formed by armed civilians. Why is that you so desperately kling to an ancient, nowadays totally redundant text? You even call it a "right that you have to exercise" (which of course is a humongous paradox). The US has its army. Land, air and water are as secure as they can be and none of you have guns to protect the country's borders — be honest. Tens of thousands of years have shown that violence never is an answer, never solves anything. So why hold on to the wrong answer? |
i can take you places they will skin you alive for a quarter, i can take you places they will eat you on both sides of the pond so dont pretend to be holier then thou when you live and preach from a bubble . dont like it dont live here that simple ... if you dont protect your rights you dont deserve them |
The other person has the same rights as you have. Rights GIVEN to you by the government of the country you live in. Their not YOUR rights, they are the rights of EVERY civilian. The government is there to protect those rights. If every civilian takes the law in their own hands, it's anarchy. |
by the way again wrong not the government we the people made up those rights when we took the country from yall ... |
Sounds good, right? "We the people", but it weren't the people who wrote the declaration of independence or the constitution. It were the leaders of those people, the ones who governed the new country. At first by their own decree, later chosen by the people (albeit long time only by a small part of the people) |
The 5th amendment was written in more sensible times and before woke took over our government and institutions |
That phrase: "Tens of thousands of years have shown that violence never is an answer" Is sooo wrong! For tens of thousands of years the world was literally "eat or be eaten" At some point big empires took over and you had some peace within their borders and relatively safe roads to travel on... until they collapsed. |
And did that violence solve anything? No. It just evoked new violence. Initially man against man, eventually empire against empire. Only difference: more violence, more casualties, less solved. It's telling that peace is described as the absence of war. |
""did that violence solve anything"""" Yes Yes it has always... a me quote Thru violence comes change.. got rid of hitler got rid of saddam got the black population the right to a voice and the right to vote so yes on both sides of the coin it can do both good and bad but something always changes ... |
So when you win the war, the losing side always says, "well you won fair and square, here, take my land and rule over me". Funny, that there always were next wars, even when the Great War that would end all wars was over, there were next wars. World wide. All things always change, no need for violence. |
thats all fine and good however the real world does not work that way ... in your bubble sure, reality says different ... |
Even the Great War to end all wars did not end any. Look it up, google "Great War" and you'll instantly know that it was supposed to end all wars, but only started the next one, even bigger. Of course war changes things, but things change without war as well. |
But it makes sense, Mike. Think about it. A solution that both parties satisfies parties has a chance of prolonged peace. A solution (war) where one party dominates the other will only urge the losing party to find ways to regain power and control over themselves. That, my friend, is reality. History shows it. |
