Lance Henriksen is almost 83 & still going at it. He is a great actor with a great voice. One of a kind. |
Wow, what an unexpectedly excellent movie! Thank you GalaxyRG, A/V is great, and the story -- for once -- is intriguingly fresh and interesting. The narrative is well told, and the performances from such a small cast are outstanding from Tatum Matthews who plays Cherry through to Henriksen. The final scenes are emotional and thoroughly engaging. Great movie, what a surprise. Thanks again GalaxyRG |
Absolutely agree. I was pleasantly surprised and really found the final scene amazing. Her argument, brutal honesty was both "human" and AI. Highly recommend this one folks. |
Great trailer and the plot is good so what is it? M3gan? hmm.. Ex Machina? The good thing about the trailer of this movie is that we've no clue at all, if it's a good robot or not. I don't know but Drama, Thriller, Science Fiction. ^^ Thanks galaxyguys, I'll watch now. |
Hell of a good movie personally and without spoilers, I just think AI won't be so kind at all, it'll be like Cyberdyne Systems Model 101/T-800 Terminator and Skynet taking control over all the gold codes/nuclear weapons on the planet and killing us all, just watch this movie and you'll realise that. 8/10 |
i don't love it or hate it , i feel it would have been better as an episode of "the outer limits" perhaps. |
This movie is tedious, boring long dialogs. Do not listen to the recommendations. Do not watch it. Save your precious time. |
It's a philosophical movie, not an action flick. It's kinda sad, really, that so many expected action although it nowhere claims to be anything like that. Judge a movie on what it is, not on what you expected or hoped it to be. That said, this is a good movie, giving plenty of food for thought in three extensive scenes: the developer as a young man, as a middle aged man and as an old man, all three set in a different location (so yes, they do leave that office). While the man is old in the end, the girl fittingly emphasises the essence of the difference (finite life vs infinity) between humans and AI with a dance. The girl does a tremendous job with her extremely complex character (which is why it's virtually impossible to produce on a stage). Recommended! |
when it said in the description "they soon find that the AI is rapidly advancing beyond its original purpose." - i was expecting it to go on an actual rampage after pedo's. this could have been a classic but it seems to be just a great idea , only without really delivering on it. |
A great surprise. Probably made with the budget for toilet paper used in any Scorsese's film, this little (not so) movie has great actors, an interesting plot, great dialogos about ethics and rights and the one and only Lance Heriksen in the third act. Also, it a surprise the young actress who plays Cherry. Recommended! |
Great movie At last something worth watching from the MCU franchise |
If netflix ever wanted a commercial to watch series, this would be it. Just as plausible as what war is to Rambo III, as what AI actually is but just as entertaining. I bet it would have been even better on a cinema screen :) |
