I have been waiting to find this every day since it came out in cinemas and not as a cam file. I don't mind the HC subs and am so excited to see this soon as possible (had a long day and old bones are weary so hoping I stay awake and don't nod off). Seriously though, Thank you all so much for sharing this movie, I appreciate heaps as always and leave feedback after .... like tomo night! |
What a nice comment. Haven't seen any of those in movie sites for a long time. It takes a nice person to make a nice comment. |
Anyone know when the official digital release in the United States is? I prefer to watch the film without hard-coded subs. Thanks... |
Smile DVD and Blu-ray release date is set for December 13, 2022 and available on Digital HD from Amazon Video and iTunes on November 15, 2022. |
Hammm... something smells good Is that bacon* sizzling in the kitchen? *vegan options are available* |
Is that tofu sizzling in the kitchen? |
Saw this in the theater, and my wife and I both liked it. There was an excellent creep factor to it! |
Ditto, until the "weak ending", great description my friend of it too "creep factor" the movie up until the ending climax was great! That ending killed it, fake monster, used 50000x .They need to get away from weak endings, like zombies or Monsters bc they are going 70's!. M=7.5-1.0 ending =6.5 T=A/V=10/10=5 |
Yeah, I see what you mean. I liked the ending okay, however, if they would have made it more of a psychological blight that spreads from person to person, the ending could have been upped a bit, AND that would have left plenty of room for a good sequel. |
I just saw the trailer for Smile 2. I thought I'd glance at the first one to see how/why it managed to get a sequel :P |
this was a nice movie, similar plot to "it follows" what an excellent rip off! , i mean that in a good way.this movie was entertaining. |
The English language; others have separate words for smiling and this creepy poster. On the bright side, this semantically gray area is where the beloved clowns of Hollywood horror movies come from ... |
So many movies each month about people needing to confront their troubled past. The only troubled past I need to confront is why did I not have that extra helping of ham at dinner 2 months ago. |
Just watch the movie then review it. I'm about halfway through it now and have to say yes it's got a nice creep factor so far. Thanks to the uploader for this. |
It's a universal theme from the beginning of times, that development of personality. There are ancient Greek myths about it, stories in the bible about it, the Babylonians wrote about it. Bt how would you know, not to mention care. |
You would also tell Shakespeare, Chekhov, Ibsen, heck every playwright ever to stop writing, because every single play is about people confronted with their past? Or rather, every second of your life is about dealing with your past, if ever you cared to think about it for said second. |
You have a troubled future with your outlook chief. You should smile more and stop letting your passive aggression show. |
