| I believe that as Christmas is predominantly displayed as a "Winter" time celebration (snow, roaring fireplaces, etc etc) which is why places like Australia do Christmas in July, as a small family gathering. In Perth (where I reside) The Christmas period temperatures are generally in the high 30's to mid 40's... that's Celcius / Centirgrade NOT Farenheight. In other words it's bloody hot. No one wants to heat up a house even more by roasting a turkey - Ham- etc etc, so that's why we have Christmas in July. Just trying to help :) |
