Sounds like a rip-off of off 'Finch' On a post-apocalyptic Earth, a robot, built to protect the life of his creator's beloved dog learns about life, love, friendship and what it means to be human. https://www.imdb.com/title/tt3420504 |
so in away Ex Mahina was ripped off by Finch? dont get all JAXE, watch the movie. I will and rate its AV and give my opinion on the film itself. |
For every story told there is one which has some similarities. Inevitable since the Odyssey and the Iliad. |
I watched Finch after reading your comment and that was a time well spent. Thank you for sharing! |
This is a very good Brit comedy/drama The whole family enjoyed this - Pop, Mom, the kids, Grandpa, Grandma, and the grand-kids - sat around the big screen out in the barn Many spnx TxG |
This uses a totally difference 'technique' from 'Fink' 'Charles' (the 'robot') lks like a person with a big box on their shoulders and a fake head on top (probably because that is exactly what it is ) whereas 'Fink' used a much more advanced 'stop motion' technique |
This is more of a kids type of movie but the family can enjoy it as well if you don't take it seriously. It is supposed to be stupid & silly. You can clearly see that Brian is dimwitted but is good at building things that don't work. |
Wow what an ORIGINAL & thought provoking piece of art THANK YOU! |
What happened to the subtitles at in the last half hour, or Act 3 if you prefer Nothing on 'English 1' and 'English 2' |
Wow! its like ripped off nothing. Not quite seen a movie so creepy, weird, bordering on funny, I found it marginally harder to watch than not watch. Its interesting, warm, (big budget blockbuster fans may be disappointed) Clearly I have way too much time on my hands right now. Don't regret watching it. Thanks for the upload. |
This is such a lovely little film. I know many of you didn't like it and are downvoting those that did ~ not sure why... This is a bit slow to start off and I imagine it's so we can get a grasp of all the oddness that is Brian. The funny is not lol funny but a sort of quiet chuckle. In some ways I was reminded of that show, The Undateables because of the awkwardness of the characters. So, yes, this little film won't change the world and I don't think it's supposed to. It's about loneliness and friendship. It's quirky and odd and a bit charming. Audio and video are fine. Thank you for the share. |
'Charles' the Robot does a 'rap' towards the end of the closing credits so don't be too quick to leave the picture house |
