 | This is the best movie ever!!!! I love when the woman goes into the woods and meet O B Juan Cannabis - the last Jamaican Jedi. Also the cinematography is magnificent, my girlfriend felt touched by the middle of the movie, it was me though. I recommend this movies to all Republican and Democrats alike. Well done! |

| Rory Kinnear was great at all the different characters he played  He even played the teenage kid The landlord character was a hoot - though probably not intended The vicar was right creepy. Nice touch the cross lying on its side in the churchyard Beautiful cinema photography Made us feel genuinely 'trapped' when she forgot to climb back up the path, carried further along the track and ended up with a closed tunnel with a locked door. Very nicely done. The whole movie conveys a sense of isolation and of being trapped. The 'stalker' in the distance looked creepy as Hell, because you couldn't quite make out what it was. If you liked Brit dark comedy The League of Gentlemen with all those eccentric character played by the same actors and The Human Centipede you will love this. |

| Just finished this. Just my opinion, but it was a little too slow, too vague and too weird for me to get into. It's a good movie as far as acting and all of the details (including the weird, creepy parts), but it was just too deep for us to try and figure out tonight. Maybe on another night, it would've landed a little better, but this is a one-and-done for us. Thanks for the upload though. I do like most A24 movies and was looking forward to this one. And all of this is not to say one of you weirdos may not really enjoy it... some of you might love it. |

|  SPOILER ALERT The 'priest' asks Harper (Jessie Buckley) when she lost her virginity. But has she?  Also, in the penultimate scene she asks her 'dead' ex-husband what he wants "Your  love Harper casually dismisses him with "Oh, yeah". Is she frigid?  One of 'those'? Then we see all those scenes of the 'birth' of men until her ex-husband is born; of vaginas; vaginas; vaginas popping out of the born   In the final scene her sister turns up; we see the blood-stained entrance, then Harper sitting over on the steps admiring a clover (Irish sign of luck, Buckley is Irish in this, as in real life) Act one plays like a thriller when she gets lost in the woods and is 'stalked'; act two plays like the 'League of Gentlemen' in part, with that 'local pub for local people' with it's selection of oddballs, act 3 plays like a grotesque version of 'The Human Centipede'. Top notch acting and production. Contains a naked man and grotesque scenes Trigger warning if you are disturbed by vaginas, childbirth, and naked men. |
