So, if I get it right, the rite of passage is to sacrifice the cult member? How's that for attracting new members and perpetuance of the cult? |
Trump and the Republicans do it all the time, so there's that. |
Now they are ripping off The Baby Sitter? I can't blame Hollywood this time because this wasn't them, but they may have encouraged it. Why come up with anything original when you can rip off other movies? |
Where are these virgins coming from? I have never met one in my life. Even when I was in high school between the age of 12-17, all the girls in my school, same age as I was, they were also 12-17, none of them were virgins. In today's environment where kids as young as grade school age have access to tablets and cell phones and computers allowing them to go on the internet, there has been study made that many boys and girls lose their virginity as early as middle school and some even in grade school. Their parents are totally clueless on what their kids are doing and seeing on the internet and what they are doing with other kids outside the home. |
Then someone must have beaten you to the chase, because they were born a virgin. |
There used to be a time when these shoestring budget films at least had a lot of goodies packed in them. Now its become plain boring with nothing innit for anyone. |
The goodies you're looking for are for free all over the internet. It's 2022, remember? |
I know it's just a movie trope, but I find it hilarious that the generic "satanist sects" love to sacrifice pretty young female virgins. If they really wanted a virgin, there are many many other choices with less police investigation. Just saying. :) |
The Incas used to sacrifice virgins to ask the Gods to give them a good harvesting season or to ask Gods not to cause natural disasters. I guess it didn't work. With all the advanced technology the Incas had, they went extinct and today's scientists are still baffled on what caused them to just disappeared. |
Absolutely not true, jaxe. The descendants of the Incas are all the Quechua-speaking people (mostly farmers) of the central Andes. In Peru, Inca descendants make up almost half of the country's population. Why do you keep spreading nonsense and why do mods help you with that? |
Guest-1983 that's because it doesn't know the difference between the Incas and the Mayans. |
