How is a question a "grammar lesson"? And that was funny enough to post twice? Wow. Go troll your mommy, she'd love to see you come out of the basement every once in a while. |
I watch movies to enjoy them not to find this fault or that fault. Seems to be a lot of people that don't know how to enjoy anything. What sad empty lives these people must lead. |
Actor Kevin Guthrie has just been released from a Scotch gaol so can we expect a Fantastic Beasts: Season 10 |
Yeah, and with Kevin Spacey due to 'voluntarily appear' in an English courthouse another series of House of Cards seems off the cards (geddit? ) |
I hear you, I feel you: you exist, you were here, you mattered. |
Yes Guest-3730 when you carve your name on a tree, or tag with spray paint a neighbour's wall you are marking for the future your presence there at that moment. |
None of that justifies the use of past tense where present tense should be used. |
How does this affect you and how is it important to you in any way? Why should anyone have to "Justify" anything? Does the original poster also have to justify anything? |
Just asking why anyone would use crooked logic through language. Sorry if that made you feel uncomfortable. |
The "original poster" is far from original, but a copycat trying to cash in on the late"Spanks". Quite the man. |
#3480 The gist was this: The idea behind a phrase like that is to leave a permanent mark. Something to look behind (in the future) and be proud of. On that perspective I say: You planted your flag on this mountain, your presence here was real. |
Fun factoid: Trees (and your neighbour's wall are ) are the longest living species on Planet Earth How do we know TxG or the internet is going to be still around in 1000 years time? But I tell you what the giant Redwood in the backyard and my neighbours wall will still be |
Your neighbour has a living wall? Man, you got bigger problems than graffiti. |
Thanks but I'm Guest-2814, I should explain what I wrote: It saddens me if this gets misinterpreted. What I see is a need to leave a permanent mark, something that can be looked back at, even after a long time. I'm conveying the reassurance all human beings need from that successful and distant point of view. I hope it makes sense |
Anyone who would want to be remembered, would not want that to be by a stolen token, would he? Rest assure, this is simple trolling by someone not able to think of anything original. No coincidence this account was created shortly after Spanks announced his/her departure. Deserves no sympathy if you ask me. |
